My neck... my back... my spine all the way to my crack... Okay, now that the musical interlude is out of the way... this massager is the absolute best. I use it daily. Once I hit 30, everything has hurt, every single day. I was constantly waking up with a crick in my neck or shoulder pain from being a side-sleeper. This Etekcity massager has changed my life. It really "gets in there" and relieves all the knots and my muscle aches. I like the heat function and I LOVE that this version is cordless so I don't feel tethered to the wall or tangled in cords. I use it throughout the day when I'm not on Zoom calls to relieve the stress that my boss and the Karens of my office place on me. I also like to sit with it on the couch or while I'm reading in bed at the end of the night to loosen up before I go to sleep. You can also position it and hold it in place (albeit kind of awkwardly) around various other parts of your body to massage your individual shoulders, back of your head, down your spine, lower back, calves, and even the bottoms of your feet. I have a muscle gun, as well, which is great for targeted spots that you really want to zone in on. This massage covers more surface area, thought, and allows you to get a better overall massage than the gun. Don't get me wrong, both are good to have in your toolkit, but I use this one more often for overall relief. A couple things to note: -This isn't whisper-quiet. It does have some noise but I have not found it to be bothersome at all. Just something to note if you are looking for 100% discreet. -Battery charge is pretty decent and will last a few days. I actually have found that I like using mine while plugged in, despite that being a bit cumbersome. Reason being, with the wall power source, the massager consistently feels like it's at it strongest setting. (Mama likes it deep.) -There are no light indicators to tell you which heat setting or intensity setting you're on. Luckily, the heat glows red... so you can look at the massagers and tell when the heat is on. As for the intensity, you have to feel it out. This one is a pretty big manufacturer error and probably deserves loss of a star, but I can't bring myself to do it. -The overall design is a bit blocky and cumbersome. You have to really pull down to get the deepest knots out. This isn't a big detractor for me, but you can't just set this on your shoulders and expect it to stay there. It requires some effort to keep it on. Again, I love this and use it too often to give it anything other than 5 stars, but I want to be open and honest with some of the features that I believe can be improved upon to make an even better product! Finally, a note on the manufacturer. I was so impressed with this Etekcity product that I also purchased the Etekcity Foot Massager Machine with Heat and APP Remote. Again for my over-30 crowd, I solemnly believe that the foot massager is another must-have purchase for your home. I use it every single day. They both help me to feel like a painfree, wreckless, fully-functional 20-something version of myself again. I have tried cheaper knock-off versions of the foot massager and was not impressed at all. There's a reason Etekcity has a higher price point than the knock-off brands - you get what you pay for. I fully endorse this brand! Bottom line - buy this! (And perhaps the full suite of Etekcity shiatsu massage products.) This massager is heavenly and your neck/back will love you for it!
