Quick RV repair

The original faucet in my Jayco travel trailer was damaged by an18 degree night in Dallas. I had wisely checked into a motel. The ice popped out the upper arm. This replacement was a simple fix and it looks better than the original chrome. All four fastenings were finger accessible plastic nuts. Easy off and on.

It's plastic and it cracked.

Bought this in mid Feb 2018, installed it in April, used it four days then shut everything down for the season (snowbird). Came back in Oct 2018, used it, looks nice. Today, 15 Jan 2019, the spout has a crack in it where it looks like a seam, spraying water all over the place. Not happy! Follow up- After several calls and several emails over the course of 3 weeks,North Bay won't stand behind the 3 year warranty, say they no longer carry this brand. The manufacturer- Empire Brass doesn't return calls (many were made) or emails in general. Over the course of a month they finally did email me to say it was a sellers issue (North Bay). No calls or emails have been returned since from Empire Brass. Unless you really need this faucet, both Empire Brass and North Bay have horrendous customer service.

Nice looking but not good for the long term

I love this nice almond colored faucet set in my RV. I have one BIG complaint though. The collar at the base of the faucet that screws onto the base of the set rusted completely through and rendered my faucet inoperative. Had to replace it. This rust through took about 3 years.

Cheap plastic, not brass!

The description said material was chrome and brass. The threaded part that the water supply connects to is plastic, not brass!. The base and the neck are all plastic with what looks like a fake chrome finish. I do not recommend this cheap faucet.
