Nice, large size

I did not use this as a protective cover. I purchased two of them, sewed them together and inserted a thin foam pad and I am using it as a chair pad for an oversized rocking chair. The material would be fine for a protective cover however the ties would need to be modified to fit the chair. In most cases they would need to be made longer in back to reach the back legs of the chair to keep it secure. Easy fix, just use black athletic shoe laces to make them longer.

Good protection for armchair

I held off on buying this for a while because a lot of the reviews stated it wouldn't stay in place well, and while I see what people are talking about i don't think it's that bad. It'll stay put for a while, maybe a few days to a week, or until my dog feels particularly squirmy one day, but then all i have to do is pull it up and readjust it which takes about 2 minutes. It has done wonders for my (well, it used to be mine until my dog usurped it) favorite plush armchair, protecting it from tons of dog hair and drool spots. It's easy to take on & off and I wash it every 2-3 weeks... so far so good. I only regret not having bought it sooner.

Use Velcro Instead of the Tie Strops

It does exactly what I bought it for. The only bad thing is the back of the chair can be seen & the 3 straps to tie it from coming loose can be seen & they don't look all that great.

Ingenious problem-solving product.

Fits the chair perfectly. What a great furniture protector. I wish I knew about these years ago. I no longer have to throw a blanket over my nice chair to keep kitty from scratching the fabric, and he loves laying on the soft quilted and padded material.

Had to add elastic to the back to keep it on a leather chair. Much nicer than a sheet. Haven't washed it yet.

Just a quilt...

May be for kids is ok... but for animals, I'd expected to be repellent to pet's hairs, but not at all. Instead of removing hairs out of the coach, now I remove them from the quilt.

I love the material but these even with strap still slide on the seats.
