Totally satisfied

Just finished our third winter using these on a front porch and could not be happier with everything about them. Purchased a sofa, love seat and rocker cover. They are in shade but no signs of wear.

Just got them and they're fading fast!

We bought two 54-inch love seat covers and two 36-inch patio chair covers which have been on our furniture on and off for just barely over a month. We’re already noticing them fading quite a bit, which worries us when it comes to the quality and ability to protect, but which is also a concern aesthetically since the top looks very different from the sides now. It hasn’t been very long…is there adequate sun/UV protection? Are the materials going to flake and leave residue on our furniture? Is it going to look horrible before the summer’s even over? The reviews we’d read for Duck Covers indicated they were high quality, and honestly it seemed like they were at first. Given that the covers become a not-insignificant amount of the total furniture purchase, it seemed like they were a good investment with strong materials and smart design. But now we’re a little worried. I didn’t want to go on Amazon and just review-slam, since maybe we just got a bad batch or something like that. But I would like to know what our expectations should be on these….should they be fading so quickly, and should we expect other issues from the material degrading? Well, all of that is pretty much what I asked Duck Covers, and the response I got was: "We have designed our covers to provide protection for as long as possible, however, exposure to UV rays will eventually cause fading. Fading means to lose color or brightness. Fading does not affect the functionality or durability of our covers." Well, that's fantastic.... UV rays will eventually cause fading, sure, but after 4 weeks? And I'm not sure that giving me a definition of fading really answers my concern about how much and how fast and whether that's normal or whether I have a bad batch. When I responded to that, I was told "some of our customers file a warranty claim after a year due to fading. We can't answers the life span when it last." So they're encouraging a warranty claim filing every year? And I can't even be sure what that last part means. It seemed like Duck Covers was going to be a solid product worth supporting due to the quality and the customer support. Very, very quickly that doesn't seem to be the case.

LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR DURABILTY

Fine for rain. Look great BUT -- Goofy things lose color in a season. I mean they turn gray. Get brittle. Tear easily. Cold weather and snow is the factor here, it would be fine in California I guess. Colorado beats them up

This looks great at first but won't stand up to Northern US winters and the sun weakens it quickly. It lasted one year.
