Pretty awesome little tool..

The only seam ripper I ever owned was my mom's which was around for a long time and it was just your basic seam ripper. It finally broke and I was devastated especially when I looked on Amazon for a replacement. All I really wanted was the same thing I had but with hundreds of options in front of me I of course began to question if that was really what I wanted. I find that to be extremely frustrating and it's why I hate shopping and maybe it's just me but either way I liked that this one had a larger and a smaller end and when I got it and used it I love that I can use the cap to quickly rub away the thread that gets left behind. It works great and it saves a good bit of time versus picking it off by hand and it's convenient because it's right there with the tool that I'm using to make the mess. The only complaint I have is that the cap doesn't always stay on as tight as it should and it occasionally falls off while I'm rubbing away. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

Excellent Seam Ripper and Thread Collector

This is a great product. The blades are sharp and the thread collector works very well. Having two sizes of ripper is an excellent feature.

I love it !

I think this was the best invention for alterations I ever saw. I take apart many seams all day long and the thread has to be cleaned away , this is perfect for it. The actual seam rippers are not as sharp as they should be . I really can't go along a seam cutting it with this using either end. I usually use a different seam ripper or a razor blade to open seams but I use this all the time to clean all the thread away. It is a great tool and the price is good for the tool.

Most bang for your buck

this is a beautiful, high quality seam ripper - perfect for big and small projects. Very ergonomic and easy to use- I can see myself using this for a long time as it has both big and small end. highly recommend.

Great product!

I’m a quilter and occasionally have the need to rip out stitches, as much as I don’t like to. I purchased 3 of these, one for me, one for my daughter and one for my DIL. The silicone tips do a great job removing the loose bits of thread. I like the fact this seam ripper has one smaller end and a standard size end.

top falls off a lot, but saves hand from cramping!

The wider handle is very easy on the hand; no cramping. But I find the top falls off a lot; it could just be me!

What a great idea!

Picking out seams and then the threads is tedious. The rubberized end moves that process right along. Could have used this years ago.

Best ripper I’ve ever had

It’s a bonus to have two sizes, for different sized stitching. I like the “eraser” caps. I’m sure they are helpful for the purpose they were designed, but I like them because they are easy to reattach and I’m forever losing or hunting for those little clear plastic things. Also I’m arthritic and easy to hold.

Poor quality

Needle/ripper assembly has become unstuck to the housing with not even 1 day's use. Good news is that the rubber head works as designed.
