Small head, so it will fit in a drain with bars.

This ended up not being the solution for me - I ended up having to take the p-trap plug off and cleaning it out that way, which was actually much easier than I thought. I tried a snake before, but my drain has some non-removable bars in the middle of the drain, and so none of those snakes would fit past that. I was hesitant about trying this one, as some of the pictures made it seem that the head of the snake might be a bit larger than it looks. Nope. It fit. It did take me a few tries to get it all the way down the drain, but I did. Unfortunately, the clog was further down and this did not reach it.

Impressive for a micro snake!

I was a little skeptical of this micro snake being so small and skinny, but was extremely impressed how well it worked to clean out my bathtub drain. Since the drain plunger was corroded and unable to be removed I couldn’t clean out the clog with a standard drain snake nor did I want to cut holes into the wall in order to access the drain assembly for replacement if I didn’t have to! The tiny plastic barb at the end of the piano wire encased in plastic tubing seemed unimpressive at first glance. It did however fit through the the stuck plunger and into the clog, as I slowly engaged the drill it grabbed onto the clumps of hair winding it up around the end of the drain snake. I was impressed how much this tiny snake was able to grab onto and pull out of the drain. Very impressive for a micro snake!

Decent overall but didn’t last long

It’s a snake attachment so you can’t really go too wrong here. However, after a few uses on my Milwaukee it’s got some kinks in it

It worked, and seems more durable than plastic snakes

So overall it did work, we had a clog that draino wasn’t helping and usually I use plastic snakes but after so many uses they’re garbage. I opted for this and it did work but like so many other coil models it is a living pain in the butt to get the hair out of the metal, you’ll spend about double the time getting the hair off the snake as it spends in the drain. I’m happy it’s reusable, but the end of the coil also doesn’t quite open up and grab hair or gunk to effectively, I found the mid shaft portion grabs hair the best when it’s on the drill. It works but you’ll probably get fed up with it.

Didn't actually get rid of my clog.

I must have some sort of other clog down in the pipes, perhaps even beyond the reach of the drain snake.

Solved the problem!

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this photo of the monstrosity of disgusting awfulness writes the entire review. Somehow a plastic toy rod went down the drain, which then hair attached itself to, and several years worth of build-up resulted in this horror-show of a clog that I pulled up from my shower drain using this product. Previous plastic "grabbers" - including a metal one with a claw at the end - couldn't clear the clog, but this one did. So five stars all around!

Great value and quality

My showroom was not draining water and after I applied this with my own electrical drill, all the hair was taken out easily! The tube is small enough to go in directly!
