Worth the price

I have had this mat for 10 months now. I love it. I wash it in the sink with hot soapy water & a brush. It looks like new every time. It cleans very easily of the grime that accumulates with just a week of a messy canine eater. I lay it outside to dry & it dries quickly in warm weather. If you have a metal bowl, it does not completely prevent sliding of the bowl, but it does help. I prefer to use a silicone bowl & there is no sliding. With a metal bowl, the mat also helps cut down on "dining noise" as the bowl isn't sliding across a tile floor. I purchased the 17 x 23.5 inch size mat & it's perfect for one bowl. I do not use it for a water bowl. I have a large dog & would need a wider mat, I think, if I had 2 bowls on it. At this size, it's perfect for one bowl with plenty of room to catch the kibble that she drops & keep my floor clean.

Great Little Matt

We bought this to put in our kitty's enclosure while he was recuperating from a surgery. That recuperation was going to take a few months and he was going to be messier than usually, so we wanted him to have a rubber mat under his food bowls. Worked like a charm. Our roommate needed a better mat for under his food bowls and we were able to pass this on to him.

Great for under dog bowls

We bought the grippmat for underneath the bowls of our dog because he would always spill water everywhere. It has worked great and there are no more water stains on our floors. At night time I just pick it up and rinse it under warm water to clean it and hang it up to dry before it goes back under the bowls in the morning.

As advertised

This mat has held up well to my dog being bathed on it as well as groomed. I sometimes spread peanut butter on it for my dog to distract her while I am grooming her and clean up is easy. I store it folded up and have had no problems with distortion. The color is nice and the size was accurate. The nubs on the mat are well rounded as not to hurt my dogs paws. Overall nice product.

Nice Color, Good Thick Quality, Does Its Job!

My dog used to push her rubber-bottomed steel bowl all over the tile floor while she ate, slopping bits everywhere while she went. This almost always keeps her bowl in one place while she eats, and the one time she moved it, the raised lip around the edge kept her bowl on the mat. Nice purple color, hole has been good to hang and dry mat after washing, even though I was worried that liquid would drip through hole. I spent some time researching feeding mats, and this is proving to be a good choice.

Thick and sturdy

This is the 2nd one I bought for my dogs. I tried a generic one but it just didn't hold up like this one. So this 2nd one is under the 2nd set of bowls and holds up well to my large Standard Poodles who love to scratch and drink like water buffalo. It's super easy to clean as well.

Great mat at a great price.

It does exactly what it says it does, and looks good doing it! We use this for our dog's food and water dishes on a hardwood floor. The mat doesn't move at all when she eats, and he dishes stay put, too. The mat does a good job of collecting spilled food and water as well. Very attractive, and the color is just right for our red-accented kitchen. The only potential negative is size; we have a mid-sized dog, and the mat does a good job of holding her dishes. If you have a monster dog with big dishes, this might be too small for you.

Great mat for cat bowls and water

This is my second grippmat for my cat water and food dishes. Works great and easy to clean. Last one lasted 5 years and replaced due to a black water mark.
