Working just fine.

For whatever reason, the original wiring harness for my trailer lights failed. I ordered this one to fit my car and I now have trailer lights again. Since I didn't have a place to work on the car, I had our local U-Haul install the wiring harness.

not plug and play

I thought this is supposed to be plug and play. The power wire is not plug and play and needs to be ran under the carpet along the edge so door sill panels and center column lower trim panel need to be taken off. I didn't go through the firewall. I just plugged it into the fuse box under the dash. Also had to drill a hole in the rear floor pan above the spare tire so the spare tire had to be dropped. Whole thing took about an hour.

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Phev Successful Install

I was able to install this into my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV GT S-AWC. Everything was hooked up in the back without needing to run the wire under the car to the battery. I just hooked it up to the battery in the back. There also wasn’t a need for any trim/panel removal tools. The instructions were useless but I simply looked at the wiring diagram and installed it. Although I haven’t tested it with my trailer I am giving this product 5-Stars. If I run into difficulty with it functioning correctly I will update my review.

Not for Vehicle that already has Factory Tow Package

Before you buy this product - check to see if your vehicle has the factory tow package included. To find out if you do, check the installation video from etrailer (for their product) and the installer will point out in the hood what you need to look for. If you do have the factory tow package go with the model #56296 (ignore the vehicle fit from Amazon: it will say it will not fit your vehicle). Only go with this product if you don't have the factory tow package. I didn't realize I had the factory tow package until I went through the installation steps.

Worked Great

Did what it said it was gonna do. Took about 30 minutes to install, nothing complex. Make sure you have the ability to lift your vehicle because you are going to need to crawl along the ground a bit to get the wire up to the front of the vehicle. Not a big issue with ramps. Overall, good kit.

To connect it’s on the driver side left side thank you

It fits perfectly on the video it shows on the right side of the rear end of the 2018 outlander but on the outlander it will be on the left rear of the light fixture the only thing that was different but it works perfectly fine thank you

Works great

Works great on my three row 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander. Easy to setup even though I had to crawl under my car to run the wire to the engine bay. Electrical tape helps keep the connectors attached to the wires.

No wires to splice

2015 outlander . Easy plug-ins. No cut wires , so if electrical problems come up later you can unplug harness and start trouble shoot the vehicle only . - Routing wire too frount of vehicle can be done with no drilling but a little of a challenge if you are not a young man ????
