These 2 x 2 gauze pads are the same as the 4 x 4 pads in terms of thickness and softness of gauze: NOT! The smaller pads were used to cushion the bottom of the foot, below the big toe, post-operatively (and apparently also post popped blister!). In this case, softer and thicker really would have been of more use - at least in terms of comfort. As with the 4 x 4 Cramer E5 gauze pads, I bought them because they were less expensive than others available, and I really did learn a long time ago that one gets what one pays for. Therefore, I made the mistake in choosing these. Nonetheless, if you need gauze pads for weight-bearing locations, spend a little more $ and protect your patient in soft, thick pads. If you need them for messy (seeping/surgical) injuries/wounds, again, spend more $ for something better.

NOT AS DESCRIBED! DO NOT BUY!

These are NOT non-stick as described! The one time I didn’t read reviews I got burned! I thought how can you go wrong with nonstick gauze pads? Well when they send you an item not as described and then say they are not returnable. C’mon Amazon make this right. Update the description and do right by your customers who ordered non-stick gauze pads.

These pads are not non-stick. No where on manufacture's box does it state non-stick, only that they are sterile. Opening a pad, it is just folded loose-weave gauze.

These are to be sterile pads. Yet when place on an open sore they case extreme burning. They are made in China and it makes me wonder what is on them!!!!!
