OK peeler for the money

Worked ok but we were used to a really nice Kyocera ceramic peeler that broke and was discontinued. I took the blades out of these and they fit right into our old broken peeler. I used the handles to make a slingshot for our son. So in the end, yes I am satisfied.

Easy to use

I have bought this set twice. Easy to use, grip and handle. The only feedback - please improve the quality so they last longer. Based on the usage they might tend to break in 5 to 6 months.

Remove the clear cellophane from the blade

After trying it a couple of times and it not working, I put it away and thought I would have to buy another peeler. I went back to use it again and saw the cellophane wrap on the blade shining in the sun light. That is the only reason you would not get a clean peel from this tool. I have two of them and I love them.

Okay peeler til the "color" flakes off the handle

Okay peeler... owned for a year or so. I notice red flecks on my cucumber. Red "paint" was peeling off. Had to throw out the cucumber and the peeler. Do no buy unless you want speckled veggies after peeling.

Excellent peelers

I had a ceramic peeler for years, which I loved and used all the time. It finally broke - probably from overuse - and so I had to replace it. I ordered two of these, and while waiting for them to arrive I went to the local store and bought a steel version. It worked, but I was so glad when these arrived. They are sturdy, easily gripped, and amazingly sharp. They peel off just the skin, even one as thin as a cucumber. I have used it to peel a rutabega, and a pear, and it works just as well on both. I would definitely recommend these peelers. Buy two, so that you always have a clean one around when the other one is in the dishwasher.

Get what you pay for

They are ok for the price you pay. They do feel sturdy and do the job for the most part however they did not work on tougher skins like squash. Also after a few washes hey do feel dull.

Hand wash only in WARM soapy water

Love these peelers, so easy to use, peels GREAT!! Downside, do not put in dishwasher or very hot water as they will distort out of shape and wont peel. Super easy to hand wash with some warm soapy water and either leave to dry or dry with tea towel or such. Despite this, these are my most favorite peelers ever and I have tried a lot of peelers!! :)

Haven't nicked my delicate finger once.

I am cursed, from birth, to have seemingly forever be fated to lose my finger skin, skinning potatoes. A little universal tit-for-tat, if you will. Well no longer content, sacrificing my biomass for carbs, I yearned to be free and see what could be done. I discovered these porcelain beauties and hoyboy am I glad I did. It's been a few months and several dozen meals later and NOT ONCE, has this aloof bloke skinned their fingers yet! Praise be unto a peeling miracle and one I wish to share with the similarly once ill-fated. I used to be cursed from birth, but no longer does it bear meaning as i found a loophole. If you too wish to escape said fate, then you too, should buy this lovely 2 pack of gentle peelers. Your fingers will thank you till your last.
