Die FLEX-CHARGE™-Funktion ermöglicht das Aufladen des Akkupacks innerhalb oder außerhalb der Stirnlampe über einen Micro-USB. Die Dual Power ermöglicht den Betrieb mit unserem maßgeschneiderten wiederaufladbaren Batteriepack oder Standard-Alkalibatterien. Battery Cage and Battery life

The media could not be loaded. This headlamp is great. I like that you can twist the lens and make it a direct beam or cover a big area. The headlamp is not heavy at all in my opinion and it is pretty lightweight. Great for backpacking or just camping. The 3 brightness settings are good and very bright. However, if you have it on the brightest setting for multiple hours at a time you can see that it starts to dim up. I like that it comes with a rechargeable battery and an option to use AAA batteries. I just got back from my first trip with it and I went to put AAA batteries in it and one of the slots for a battery was not holding the battery tight in place and when i would close the cover for it the battery would wobble around in it and I couldn’t turn on the light. I believe this is because one of the prongs that holds the battery in got pressed in too much. I’m returning this one hoping that it is a one time defect. I love the headlamp and will just be replacing it for a new one!

Buy an extra battery or two

These coast headlamps are amazing. I’m a contractor that works outside at night on a regular basis. This light in particular is great because it has a focus ring on the light. I own 2 of these coast headlamps because they’re so good. They definitely munch through batteries but that’s to be expected because they’re very very bright. On low you’ll get a handful of hours but on full you’ll get maybe 2 or 3 hours before it’s too dim to use.

Very good lighting

The 400 lumens is not hype! It throws a lot of light on highest setting. 2nd setting only slightly dimmer. 3rd setting is about half and still quite good. I suppose Coast got feedback on their switches being too easily activated because this light switch has to have a firm centered press to activate. Less likely to turn on accidentally in a gear bag. The lamp assembly swivels with a click and stays in place where you put it. My only gripe is that the band is too wide. Tends to slip upwards on the head in use. Its best suited to use with a cap. Band to cap clips are included but I haven't tried them yet.

Good Light, Simple User Interface, Reasonable Price

The light is a good neutral white, and it illuminates the field evenly. One button only. Push it once and get the brightest setting; push again and get the middle setting; another push gives the lowest; a fourth push turns it off. The large button requires a firm push; so it's unlikely to get turned on by accident. Easily operated with ski gloves on. Turning the ring around the lens produces a bull's eye spot, which is a floodlit field with a bright center. Both the spot and the field are evenly lit.

Maybe a little bigger button to turn lite on

It has a magnificent lite, and you can adjust the beam. The only thing I have a problem with is pushing that little button with gloves on to turn the lite on
