Does what it's supposed to do

When I first charged them with distilled water I was battling a bit to keep a 70 percent humidity and removed one device from my 75 count humidor. In hindsight, my humidity was a bit high because my humidor was empty. I now run two of these puppies with about 30 large cigars and it maintains a constant 73 percent humidity. All I do is fill them with distilled water for 45 seconds, drain off the excess water and leave them upside down on a cloth to catch any residual water. They come with magnetized bases where one just places the metal disc in the humidor and the unit sticks too it. The magnet attached to the humidification device did break off on both the units but a bit of glue quickly sorted that out. A word of advice it to attach the metal plate wherever you like in the humidor and leave them overnight so the glue takes and then attach the humidification device. This gives it time for the glue to set. One does get a bit of the beads breaking off in fine pieces but I think it's par for the course with these types of humidity devices.

Works For Me

I use this in a 25 count humidor I received from my Brother In Law as a Christmas present. I filled the humidor with a 20 count sample pack. Works great, keeps a consistent humidity level and is easy to use. Just fill it up, let it sit for a minute or so, dump out the excess, wipe it off then back in the humidor it goes. I refill it once a week or so. It doesn't need it but I refill the humidity devices in all my humidors once a week anyway.

Hard to tell when it dries out as the beads don't seem to "swell" when watered.

I have to recharge them almost every 2 days. ...

I have to recharge them almost every 2 days... the quantity of bids is too few. for the price it should be full of bids. I get the bids need space to expand, but the product I received barely fills a quarter of the space in the container after deep it in destile water per the instructions.

Excellent!

This little device is amazing. Send out enough moisture to keep your cigars perfect, when paired with the correct humidor. I would buy this again!

Unit was not even halfway filled with beads, which didn't even expand to fill the capacity after adding distilled water. After a few weeks, it started flaking inside my humidor (as it was mounted upside down), so I had to replace it immediately with another humidifier system.
