Best spatula ever

This is my second spatula. The first wore out (I found a chip in the rubber) after about 10 years. It's the best I've ever used, and I bake constantly. The metal in the handle is great - makes it nice and sturdy. The blade is slightly curved - just right to scrape a bowl. It's the only spatula I use.

Most used tool in my kitchen

Loves: 1 piece double spatula, i use this instead of a spatula for most uses. great butter spreeader, great mixer so easy to clean can handle a lot of heat perfect length after using for 5 years, had to replace because it ripped when we stuck it in the vitamix

Just okay, not as good as earlier model

I'm one of the many who had the earlier version of this product and loved it. The earlier version did a fantastic job of scraping out whatever was in the bowl, whatever size bowl you had. This current version is much stiffer and I expect that it will last longer (the earlier one lasted about ten or twelve years before it started to tear). I think the stiffness will help the longevity, but it also means that it is much less flexible and not as effective as a scraper.

Weird...

This was purchased in the hopes that it would be useful with my Vitamix. It is not. The length is not what I had hoped. I find myself reaching for other spatulas before this one. It feels bulky in the hand and the ends make me hold the spatula more in the middle which means my hands are further into the pitcher than I would like or get covered with the contents of the pitcher. Even when not using with the Vitamix it feels weird and there really isn't a situation where I would use both ends in a single baking project because dirtying both ends would be messy and cleaning one end to use the other is no more time saving than using two different spatulas.. The bulky opposite ends take up more room in my utensil jar so this really isn't saving me any space. I would rather just store two regular spatulas of these size than one that can only be used one end at a time anyways.

I LOVE THIS SPATULA !!

It works !!! And it works well. I scrapes up every bit of food / batter / bread dough / lemon curd / oil / etc. I even use it when stir frying in the skillet. I have tried many well known brands and this surpasses all of them. I loved the way it worked so much that I bought more to give to my mom and sister.

So far, ok.

Bought two of these to have on hand in case something ever happens to my original one I bought 12 years ago. My original one is slightly more flexible and has a metal core, the new one appears to have a plastic core of some sort. Hopefully it will be just as trusty as my original, my favorite.

Well made

This replaced an older black silicone version that lasted a very long time, so it was an easy choice to get another one. Expensive but lasts a very long time!

Flexible enough for scraping

This is excellent - I bought it so I could have one single double-ended spatula instead of a big and a small one. I was a little worried some of the reviews said it was very firm but it is just flexible enough to scrape bowls clean, which is just what I wanted. Also works fine on a hot pan. Sometimes it does develop a whitish "bloom" like Hunter boots do but it washes away. Recommend!
