Cats and mom aren't huge fans

I am disapointed in mysel for not measuring the product on the wall I intended to place it. The item does not match walls unless they're perfectly flat and plain corner walls. I have wooden panels/borders on my doorways and it didn't sit nicely. The cats don't seem to like it yet. I may have to consider finding an alternative space for it. Unfortunately it's a bit bulky and not easy to find a specific size corner. My fault for not reading the details and measuring the space.

Easy to install

Easy to install; used stronger Command strips to attach to porch. Cats aren't very interested yet, so I haven't had to clean it. Need to add catnip and see if that gets their attention.

The cats and I love it but they tore it off the wall after a day. It doesn't come with screws to secure it so I have to try to find my own and probably never will..

Let’s them rub on something that isn’t your face

I have two cats, but I ordered this specifically for a cat that loves to cuddle and would like nothing more than to lay on your chest and rub her whiskers all over your chin all day long. I was hoping that this would be comforting to her to have while I am gone at work. It didn’t work for what I wanted it to, but she still likes it and I would buy it again. Installing this is easy, it can be stuck to the wall with sticky pads or screwed onto the wall. It comes with sticky pads but no screws. I originally had planned to use the included pads but after visualizing what would happen if it unstuck from the wall and re-stuck to my cats fur, I decided to just screw it onto the wall. I does show in the directions that you can attach it to either a corner or to flat wall, but I felt a corner would work best as it gives cats more area to move around and really rub up against it. I will note that when I was installing this, the backing cracked which doesn’t affect the functionality, but I feel I should mention it as it doesn’t seem very durable. The sides of this brush can be filled with catnip, but after trying it with two types of catnip, I think I’ll stick to just spraying it with liquid catnip. The side areas to hold the catnip are very small and for the less finely ground catnip that I tried initially, it was a huge pain to get it inside and just as annoying to remove. With the finely ground catnip, it wanted to all come out of the vents. Also, it didn’t really get either of my cats more excited to rub against it anyway. After leaving this for several days, I found that my hope to give my cat something to rub against when I’m gone during the day didn’t really work out like I wanted. She doesn’t use this during the day when I’m gone, but she will use it when I’m at home and nearby. All things considered, I would call that a win. Overall, at the current price of around $5, I would recommend this to most cat owners. It’s nice to have another option for your feline friends to rub up against, especially if they happen to be the extra cuddly type. I don’t feel that this is the most durable brush, but at this price, it doesn’t need to last forever for me to feel like I got my money’s worth. I’ll update my review if it breaks.

Just Bought 2 More

After reading the reviews I attached with command picture hangers rather than the adhesive strips that came with it. I wasn’t really sure what the best height would be so would have appreciated some guidance. It took a few days but at least one of my cats finally started using it. Thing is, it’s always in the night, so if I don’t just happen to be awake to hear it I would never know. Now I see her rubbing on other corners so I’m getting more and will place them slightly higher.

Great Product!

Great product, however my cat won't have anything to do with it. I sprinkled the catnip inside, but she's just not interested in it even though she loves to self groom on every corner of the house. HaHa! Maybe someone else will have better success. Will probably just use it as a brush.

Ok but sharp

I can't give much as my cats ignore it. But the bristles seem a bit sharp if you ask me, it does come with catnip but it's on the mild side, I wouldn't suggest for short hair cats but long cats should enjoy it

Cut my cats lip! Dangerous

The bristles are extremely hard - my cat sliced her lip right open. Look at the photos, that’s blood! It was such a nasty cut too, right through the lip. I complained to them directly and sent the photos and they have refused to accept that the product might have been responsible; I think this is a dangerous attitude. I’ve had to throw mine away and I would NOT recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. ... und da die Katzen ihre Köpfe sowieso an sämtlichen Ecken reiben, kann man doch das Angenehme mit dem Nützlichen verbinden. Ich hab gleich mehrere gekauft und in der Wohnung verteilt.

It is pretty sharp

I saw the review on here that said it had cut her cat and because I could only see one like that and lots of positive reviews, I thought I'd give it a go. It is very stiff, like other reviewers have said and the 'teeth' are pretty sharp. I thought it might be the grey edge that might be sharp, but actually, it is the teeth. My cat is a big fusser and would have loved this but he is also very enthusiastic and I think, because he has a skin condition that reacts badly to scratches etc, it wasn't worth the risk, so I returned. Think I might just buy a nail brush which is softer and try and stick that to the wall. This is a bigger size than than, but as I say, much to stiff and sharp.

Buy this with the strong catnip and your pussy will love you forever!

The media could not be loaded. Merlin seems to be enjoying his new toy/tool but not with the catnip included. Thankfully I bought another tub for when the sachet ran out but Merlin ignored the scratcher for a few days, then I emptied it out, replaced it with the heavy blend and that did the trick, he's now going potty around my kitchen totally off his nut, if I put on old skool hardcore and flicked the light on and off it would make a very convincing rave scene, just with a cat ????.
