Fell out when surfing

I ordered these because I cut my toe twice on my regular fins that come with the catch surf log. I switched to these, and on the 2nd use one fell out! I wasn't able to find it so the set is done.... I have switched out fins multiple times and always tighten before. If you have a catch surf board then these may be your only choice. Just make sure they are tightened at all times. If the ridges were a little more textured then I do not think that this would happen. Overall these are great for safety, but just be cautious.

a fin broke 1st time using it

got these so friends kids could have safe fins on my skipperfish to play in surf with. Kids used it and then i used it and it was washing around in shorey fin caught sand and broke immediately not even 24 hrs after it came in mail. So the price tag is bit steep for plastic fins that break this easy. The fins do have decent soft edge to them. Better than the stock plastic catchsurf fins that are crazy sharp on their trailing edge...but i'm wondering if I could just sand down the stock fins or even tape them up with water gorilla tape and that would be better solution than these fins (also i know protec makes soft edge performance fins)
