Fits perfect, but….

It fits perfect but is about a 1/2 in wider than the router base. It didn’t affect the job I used it for but I don’t know why it needed to be made larger.

Fits well, works well on Colt

Easy base replacement for a Bosch Colt that gives a wider more stable base. I haven't tried using Porter Cable style guides so no comment on that.

This works, unlike its predecessor

I have had the Colt several years. Don't use it often but it has bailed me out a few times. I bought the prior Bosch base plate that supposedly handled PC template guides, but I didn't have occasion to use it til recently. Fail! Couldn't center the bit. Not even close. Had to buy the newer model base plate (the one I'm reviewing here). Since they screwed me on this previously, should I rate the new one 5 stars? Torn. Update: I see that Lee Valley (dot com) makes such a thing too. Good company.

Router sub base

When I first tried to install a brass template I found that there was no way to use it After doing a little checking I discovered this sub base Its larger so it makes it more stable and being clear its easier to follow the pattern or drawing

Bosch must be scatterbrained !

On the PR110 sub base.. They cannot agree on what the center hole opening is. It has a 2-stepped opening. The larger is 1.375" ( 1-3/8" )..the smaller is 1.25" ( 1-1/4" )..Their specs claim at one posting it is 1-1/8" ( 1.125"), at another posting they say it's 1-3/16" ( 1.875")...Someone either had a bad day or a corporate spy trying to sabotage the company...Decimal fractions are the same as making change for the YANKEE "DOLA" ! TO MAKE IT SIMPLE : YOU DIVIDE 25 CENTS IN HALF , ( 25 cents is a quarter ) half of a quarter is 12& a half cents = .1250 (1/8th) divide that in half you get 6 & 1/4 cents = .0625 ( 1/16th) keep going & have fun = .0312 = 3 & 1/8th cents ( 1/32nd ) divide in half = 1/64th ( .0156 ) Make yourself a chart & memorize. Then go after metric conversions and make a wrench/socket interchange chart..You can use all the metric wrenches and need only a FEW SAE wrenches.. ( some have a better grip than others, learn which ones ) Go ahead learn for yourself !

Perfect for Porter Cable Style Router Template Bushings

I"m in Australia. Although our domestic voltage is different, we essentially get the same power tools. The funny little quirk is that whilst I can buy standard (Porter-Cable) template guides almost everywhere.... There isn't a metric equivalent AFAIK, but in their 'wisdom' manufacturers open the centre hole up to a standard metric size- that you can't buy template bushings to fit....... Sooooo we buy this base with a 1 3/16 inch opening; so the Template Bushings fit perfectly. A Weird but True Fun Fact.

Works great with my Bosch Palm Router.

Fits perfectly on my Bosch palm router. Wasn't sure if it would fit properly but took the risk and I am glad I did. Great price compared to buying a plunge base for my router. Having the clear vs. black helps with seeing the wood below while routeing.
