Cheap and sturdy

Bought this in red because it was cheap as an add on item ($2.85) and was curious to see if it was useful thing to have. Used it to tip my spoons ice fishing instead of live bait, and the perch seemed to like it...so far, not disappointed in using it ice fishing, but trying it on the river will really prove if its any good. Can't beat the price though, doesn't come off the hook easy either!

Didn't work out for me.

Came sealed for freshness. Smells really pungent. Diameter of about 8-10mm. Sorry, no way I'm letting my callipers touch these. It floats. If you are using a small, fine gauged hook it'll float to the surface. Unfortunately, it did not get me any bites. I guess they work for trout. Casting this to rising tilapia literally drives them away. They approached it out of curiosity, then turned away. I may try again in white to see if that will work. The fishes I'm targeting is used to bread and insects.

Worked great, but ask other fishermen for color choice

I tried trout fishing for the first time since I was a kid, fishing Wells Lake in February (stocked by Arkansas G&F). Reading Arkansas Game and Fish weekly fishing reports, and seeking other online resources led me to try Power Eggs. My initial scouting of a site on the Beaver Lake Dam tail waters, revealed that white eggs were working best. I took my three kids to the Beaver Dam site in March. We were each able to catch our limit of rainbow trout, and had a great time!

Have caught alot of trout on these as well as the other Power Eggs.. Stay on the hook and you can use them over and over.. Fish seem to hold on to these so I don,t lose as many!!

Trout really love power eggs, especially early in the morning. I use one of these and one orange glitter floating eggs on a number ten hook and catch my supper every time I go!

converted me from real fireballs

have used fireballs for 45 years but now i will never partially dry them so they will stay on the hook. these little rubber red balls have converted me and work like magic on trout. i would like to thank my father in law for introducing me to my now number one trout bait, so long cheese, corn, and fireballs.
