Shorter Vertical Length than Advertised - Bad for Gaming

I was looking for a backup mouse pad that would work for both office use and long video game sessions. Unfortunately it could only perform for basic office use. For what it's worth, this mouse pad feels really smooth to the touch, and my mouse has no issues gliding over it. However, as you can see from the picture, it's not a full 8 inches (even with the slight ruler tilt [in favor of the mouse pad]). For basic office use this isn't much of a worry. However, for gaming it's absolutely a no-buy. If a company is selling me a product with already-limited space, I'd appreciate receiving exactly the space I paid for as advertised (i.e. a full 8 inches as opposed to the 7 & 5/8th inches I got) As even a casual gamer, you will feel most comfortable with generous horizontal *and* vertical space. However, since this mouse pad's vertical length is actually LESS than 8 inches, it makes vertical movements in games a hassle with very limited room. Therefor as an overall mousepad it does a really good job. But with the false advertising, I have to take a point away. Shame on Belkin for skimping out on literally 3 eighths of an inch! That's a mere couple of pennies!

Cute little mouse pad

It's a cute little mouse pad, clearly not best for gaming, but good enough for regular office work, the surface is super slippery, so its very easy to clean, and it doesn't get wet when liquids accidentally hits it, on the other hand, the surface so slippery, that the corded mouse when left, can slightly move, which isn't an issue at all, but just unusual, that the surface so slippery in compare to my old fabric gaming pad. For the price value clearly good, the purple color exactly like in the description

Serves Its Purpose

This does not slip and slide on my desk. I wanted one that is plain black and without designs on it. This is perfect. I am very happy with it. Not sure it is easy to clean.

Simple and It Works

Really good and simple mousepad for a good price. Nothing to complain about here. No edge stitching but if you need a basic mousepad for work, home, or school, look no further.

Great, basic mousepad

The black fabric top works great with my optical mouse. The foam padding on the bottom provides a good cushion and keeps it from sliding around on my desk as I work.

Does the job and you can’t beat the price :)

The surface is textured but slick. It will be easy to clean. My mouse slides across it smoothly. I actually got this one because of the price and the color. I love the purple! I didn’t want to spend much on a mouse pad because I was going to cut it to a custom size. This fit the bill perfectly and I’m very happy with it.

Good quality, came fast

I don't like to write reviews soon after I receive the item, It doesn't help with knowing what the actual quality is. The mouse pad is great quality. I have packed it around with me. I have used it every day and it is holding up very well. It's nicely cushioned but not too soft. I would buy it again.

appearance spoilt by crease

Looks good quality and lies flat but whoever packed it folded it in half, leaving a big dent across the whole mat which spoils the overall appearance. This was unnecessary as the envelop was big enough for it to lie flat. A good mat spoilt through little thought.

Useless

A good-quality mouse mat is thick, floppy and weighs c. 200g. It sticks resolutely to your desk or table - as it should. This one weighed about 30g and floated about like a feather. Useless, and I had to return it.

DON'T put a high output flashlight on Turbo Mode head down on the mousepad.

As a mouse pad what can I say. It stays put on the desk, optical mouse tracking I have no complaints, it's soft enough on the hands etc. Durability: - it should have lasted some years under normal use. Mine survived 8 days when I inadvertently put a 3800 lumen flash turned on in Turbo Mode head side down on the pad for a few seconds. Definitely not recommended and certainly punishment well beyond what such a product should ever be subjected to. Fortunately I had ordered 2 so I had a spare on hand and will likely buy a few more as insurance against such mistakes.

Cheap and Basic

This is basically the stereotypical no-frills mousepad. The base is that dense black foam and the surface is a thin, slightly coarse layer of fabric. I give this 5 stars not because it’s the best but because it delivers exactly what it says for a low price. I use this as a cheap and portable mousepad near my raspberry pi for the rare occasion I need to hook up a keyboard and mouse. If you plan to put this into daily use then do yourself a favour and spend a little extra for a more durable product. Look for at least a stitched edge because I find the first thing to break down on a cheap mousepad is the fabric peeling away from the base. If this review was helpful please click the button below!
