Good Value, Stopped The Leaks!

Pretty easy to apply. Did a nice thick first coat with a brush which used a gallon. Then I used another gallon a few weeks later to apply two lighter coats with a paint roller. Solved a few leaks we were having! Motor home was 21 feet long.

Applies thinner than I hoped for

My application is non-standard, I am using it for an interior decorating project. I hand brushed it on pre-primed furnace ductwork to act as appearance-grade sound deadener and sealant. I am planning a smooth finish topcoat of metallic bronze color. Heavy bodied product when I was hand-stirring, but when brushed it spread much thinner than I was expecting. First coat did not want to grab and it spread thin. Second coat was better. Not sure if a 3rd coat will be worth the effort and expense. Two coats of this product are slightly thicker than two base coats of latex metal primer. This product is not intended for close-up interior finish grade, but it might be versatile enough to work. Low odor dissipates quickly, easy to work with, required minimal stirring with a common flat stir stick. Water clean up was as easy as latex paint.

Good product & value, but temperamental to put on.

I used this on my camper roof. It's a smooth metal roof in good condition so I didn't want to cover the good roof surface if not needed. However, all the vents & railings, etc., were getting a little... tired? looking, around the screws & stanchions. So I cleaned and prepped the entire roof and all the items. Then taped off to only paint around the perimeter where the railings and vents and A/C are. (Basically, everywhere anywhere near screws.) Cutting in everything was done with a brush. The paint is much thinner and slipperier than I expected. Thought it would be more sticky & heavy. So it didn't cover easily. (had to use a soft brush to not pull to much off when applying. Rolled the rest and it had a tendency to not lay down very thickly. Also, a big problem, was that it bubbles a lot when rolled on. If you let it sit a few seconds (to tack up) as you move on, then go back and lightly roll over it to pop the bubbles and even it out, it gives a really nice even finish. Sadly, I had to do that 3 times to get enough thickness. In the end, it came out very nice. This stuff reeeeally sticks well (on almost anything including your hands). I saw quite a few people say it didn't cover as much as stated. But I found it covered quite a bit of surface and all 3 coats equaled about the amount they stated for coverage. (In my case, about 50 sq. ft. & 1/2 can.)

Sealer for roof leak

I purchased this product because of the price and was very happy with how effectively it prevented any leaks on my roof. It also sealed the roof from any future leaks In problematic areas on my roof.
