As assembled, unit splashes lots of water and sucks lots of air.

I was looking for a small fountain to put in my bedroom as a soothing sound and humidity source. So, when this became available, I decided to order it and try it. Here is what I found: 1. The unit comes fully assembled. As assembled, putting water in it and plugging it in will splash water and make a lot of noise. 2. As you can see in the first picture, my unit came with lots of pieced of ceramic inside. Cleaning it out got rid of a lot of noise and provided a surface for the pump to attach to. 3. The hose is too long and forces the pump on its side. This causes it to suck air. You need to go in and cut about an inch of the hose to allow the pump to sit in flat. 4. The pump has a slide switch to adjust volume of water coming out. Mine came set to full water flow. I turned it all the way down and it did help. 5. Yes, it is manufactured in china, but I have had a couple of other fountains from this company and they were very well made. This one, no so much. Even after all of the adjustments, the unit is quieter, sprays less water around it, but still will get the area around it damp. So, if you are going to use this, ensure it is on a surface that cannot be damaged by water. I think it is a good concept piece that needs more work. I cannot recommend it at this point.

Takes fiddling with the pump, need to add stones so it doesn't splash

It arrives with the lights and pump installed but just crammed into the opening so you have to do some fiddling with the pump to get it set flat, and while you're at it, tighten the water tight light fittings, all of mine were loose. Now this opening you have to work with is small and the water tubing on the pump is rigid and a little long so it wasn't the funnest thing I've done. Once you get the pump and lights all worked out fill it with water, mine took under a gallon, plug it in and voila, or not. So the tallest waterfall is the only one that makes water sounds, but sounds and acts more like a hard stream of splashing pee, so I arranged pebbles from my yard in the basin and resolved that. Now it sounds like a relaxing babbling brook but the Humm of the pump is louder and overpowers the babbling brook sound. The led lights are a nice feature, but again found myself taking flat stones from my yard and partially covering them. They are piercing bright on the eyes if you plan on having this on a table near you, but are fine if it's up high on a book shelf. It would be nice if they angled the lights pointing inward towards the rock walls. After I got everything arranged and working as intended it's a lovely fountain but the pump is too loud, so I ordered a different pump and resolved that issue, now it's exactly what it should be attractive with relaxing sounds. Unfortunately I don't recommend this fountain unless you're willing to invest time and possibly money to make it what it should be out of the box. Thank you!

Not happy

This fountain is really poorly engineered and came with a really cheap pump. Part of the fountain was cracked as well and that was disappointing to me. I glued it as it was a relatively small piece and wouldn't affect the actual operation of the unit. It flooded the area where we set it up even after we adjusted the volume of water coming out. Swapped it out with a better pump and made some other adjustments to it, and it doesn't have that horrid machine-humming noise of the pump running that drowns out any pleasant sounds of water. At this price I would have expected far better quality.

Okay product

I really wanted to like this and have always wanted an indoor fountain because I think they're soothing. No matter how much water was placed in this splashed out and over time causes a pretty substantial amount of water. This is not something I'm willing to clean up after

Nice Nature Ambiance

This 3 Tier Rainforest Tabletop Fountain is a pretty nice tabletop fountain. It's a big larger than I imagined it would be. It was pretty easy to put all together and get it working. I put it out on my back patio though. It makes a nice water fountain with nature ambiance out in my back patio. It works pretty well.

Large, beautiful, and creates a relaxing ambiance

I set this fountain outside by a sitting area where I display all of my plants and flowers and this fountain has really tied everything together. The LED lights are very bright and easy to see and at night can even provide decent light to a dark area. I had to use a short extension cord since it wasn’t long enough but that’s expected. The pump can be adjusted to more or less flow. I have mine at the max. It was a bit tricky fitting the pump in through the bottom but once I did it it was good. The bottom also can store quite a bit of water. I filled it up with a hose and it definitely holds around a liter or so maybe a bit less but enough to last a good number of days before it evaporates enough to need a refill. Everyone who’s seen it has really liked my new fountain and I’m very glad I got it.
