2 screw holes would be better than just one
I have 2 of these, each holding a different piece of the trailer hitch bike carrier I use. Each piece weighs 50+ lbs so I drilled the mounting hole a bit larger to take a 5/16 lag screw over the cheap single screw that came in the kit. My only complaint is that if the weight is not well centered, a single screw in the middle of the housing is susceptible to rotation if not fastened extremely securely… like with a 5/16 lag screw.

Great for holding one bike, could be used for two in a pinch
This rack is great for holding a single bike and probably can hold two bikes with some creative positioning. The mount seems sturdy and well designed for a static load of maybe 50-70 pounds. If you have two frequently used heavy bikes though, I would be concerned about the extra stress of lifting the bikes and dropping them on the pegs over and over again on the single screw. I was very impressed by the foam backing that came with this rack. This prevents damage to your drywall when tightening the screw. I remember seeing indentations after removing my tv from my old place. The difficulty with mounting two bikes has to do with the length of the arms, you'll need to overlap the pedals and/or handlebars to get them to fit. We ended up getting two of these and mounting them next to each other such that one bikes front wheel overlaps with the other's rear wheel. This gave us a sturdy solution for storing two bikes without taking up too much space in our apartment for a great price. With the second rack there was more resistance drilling into the wood (and I'm not sure I used the exact right size phillips bit) and the screw stripped very easily. I had to dremel in a slot in the head and finish tightening with a flat head. Pros: - single screw mounting for ease of installation and lack of wall damage - foam backing is a very nice touch, prevents compression damage to drywall - sturdy, should handle static load of two modern bicycles - folds up when not in use Cons: - Fitting two bikes depends on style/size of bikes, likely requires creative positioning - Oh my the screw is horribly soft

AFFORDABLE, FAST DELIVERY, WORKS & LOOKS GREAT!
Works great! Single wood screw to mount. Purchased two mounts. Note: the wood screw supplied snapped in half when I tried to tighten it down with an electric drill and screw bit. Had to buy another wood screw at Ace's hardware for 25 cents. No biggy, but the wood screw supplied must have been of cheap quality. When screwing down the mount, make sure you don't over tighten the screw like I did. Eased off the trigger and slowly screw the mount in nearing the final turn of the screw!!!! 2nd note: It can store two bicycles, but just notice that the triangle (body) on your bicycles are large enough to clear over the mounting bars. I have four bikes but was only able to clear my mountain bike with my son's Bmx 20" bike, and my son's older black 20" bmx. The third bmx bike was a cheapo purchased at Walmart and had a funky design where the top bar was unusually thick, causing the inside clearance of the triangle to be unusually tight. Needless to say it would not clear over the mounting bars. I do not blame this on the mount but solely on the characteristics of the cheap/unusual design (aesthetic design) of the bmx. When storing two bicycles on the mount, you will notice that the the front tires might or will be slightly turned as to make room for the second bike (with two bikes the handle bars will eventually touch the wall so angling the front wheel helps). You can take note on the picture posted on Allen's website Wall Mount 201B. I gave this review 5stars because at the end of the day, the bikes look Wickedly Sick on my garage wall!!! I have the mounts stacked and have a skateboard rack sharing the other side of the wall!!!! Works great and already have many complimants!! Purchased this product because I was impressed with the 2-bike tow/hitch mount made by Allen that I purchased for my 4Runner. That also was competitively priced vs other name brands like Hollywood,Thule,Yamiko, etc. without breaking the wallet. Still a big fan of Thule and Yamiko!!!! Just had to penny pinch with the hitch bike mount! By the way...hated the Bell mounts. Jus sayin.

Great stand after upgrading to stronger lag bolts
This is an updated version of an older Allen bike rack I already owned "only difference was the color". I would not use the bolt that came with the storage rack. I made the mistake of using the included one on my first rack and the screw snapped in two when screwing it into the wall. I went to the hardware store and bought lag bolts to install it into the stud in the wall. I would not recommend using this for two completed bikes. I now have 3 of these and store one bike each with a set of spare wheels/tires on each one. I do store two bikes on these when the wheels and pedals are removed. This is a decent low cost stand that can double as a work stand when doing maintenance on a bike.

Fits 2 Adult Bikes - Make Sure to Follow Install Directions and Use Bigger Screw!
I read the review with people being nervous about this hanging with a single screw. I bought on faith and I am very happy with the product. I have two heavy-isa bikes hanging on it. One is a Specialized XL mountain bike and the other is a Raleigh women's bike. They both fit but it is close. I did take the advice from a commenter about putting pipe insulation around the bars just to protect the finish of the bikes. Here are the other things YOU MUST do if you are using this for bike storage. One, I think, it obvious. You MUST (and this is clear in the instructions) put the screw squarely into a stud. DO NOT use those drywall anchors. Use a stud finder to make absolutely sure you have a stud. Don't use the knock test. Use a stud finder. Second, pitch the included screw and get a heavy duty screw. Drill a pilot hole in the stud or use an impact driver but make sure it is firmly in the stud at least 1.75". I did this and then I hung on the bars (I'm 190 lbs.) and they didn't flex. I'll likely get another one of these for my kids' bikes and, honestly, after testing the weight on it I also think the bars are far enough apart that hanging garden tools, extension cords, and air hoses would be good "off-label" use for this product.

Good value
I've had this installed in the concrete wall in my basement for 6 months now with no issues. I don't know if it would fit 2 large bikes but it's been holding my large bike and my daughter's bike with no issue for a while now. Very happy with this product
