Someone suggested this to me after I shared my story of trying to get up on a slalom multiple times one day. The first time I tried this I immediately noticed a difference. I got up on the 4th try and have been getting up the first time thereafter ever since. This is a game changer!

Nice basics rope for etching slalom skiers

We use this at Scout camp for teaching new slalom skiers. Works great.

Nice rope for learning slalom ski deep water starts.

This rope was bought to use with a HO brand really wide slalom ski. The long “vee” design of the handle and rope allows the skier to keep their ski pointed up while they wait for the boat to get going. Once going and skier stands up, the rope slides forward off the ski and they are water skiing normally.

Helped me get up from deep start

I am decent on 2 skis but couldn't get up on one ski. This helped a lot! I was able to get up, although I didn't stay up long, but great first tries of the summer. Was never able to do it last summer. Sounds silly, but if you need help having never slalom skied, this does help!

Great rope for slalom skiing!

I tried skiing again this summer after 20 years and bought this rope for the V to put the slalom ski in. Got up first try! So surprised! It’s far enough from the handle that I didn’t have to squish to fit the ski in and the handle was comfortable to grip.

Really helps as you're getting older

I used to slalom ski all the time as a kid and even into college. Tried getting back into it this year in my 40's and my older, fatter body definitely made it more of a challenge keeping centered over the ski at the start. After picking up this rope I've been getting up on the first try most times. I think it will really help my daughter who's just about ready to transition from two skis to one as well.

Did the job for getting me out of the water on my mono ski. 4 stars not 5 as the quality isn't as good as others on the market but this is considerably cheaper than most.

Works very well to stabilize the slalom ski for those first learning to slalom ski.

Bought this Slalom Trainer to help two of my grand children learn to slalom ski. This device helps them get up out of the water more easily but has no effect once up on one ski.. The Eleven year old girl got up first try and other subsequent tries proved easy for her. The twelve year old boy took several tries and then got up as well and has since gotten up again on first try. Both of these two grandkids were good skiers with two skis but not exceptional and yet they were able to get up on one ski with this assistance. This is a simple but effective device.
