Shipped AFTER They Should've Arrived

Ever had to yank pillow fluff from between the teeth of a hyperactive Standard Poodle puppy? I have! And believe me, it is not as fun as it sounds. You see, Poodles are supposed to be the second most intelligent dog breed, fronted only by Border Collies. Most authorities on dog breeds agree on this, and I did hours of research before choosing a Poodle as the best dog for my family. Knowing how brainy these dogs are supposed to be, I have high expectations for my pup. But even after living with her for more than 3 months I can't figure this dog out. Did the intelligence gene skip her generation? Or is she so supremely smart that she's learned she can do what she wants because she's convinced me she's a complete idiot? This little (genius) knucklehead has decided that the fluff inside throw pillows is tasty and fun to play with. It didn't take long before a small, inch-long hole in the seam of one of my old throw pillows became a gaping gash running nearly the pillows' entire length. We put the pillow where the little (genius) knucklehead couldn't reach it. It took even less time for her to figure out that (A) there were three more pillows for her to tear into and (B) she was growing very quickly so eventually she was able to reach the pillow's hiding place. The fluff was everywhere. Between couch cushions. Next to her food bowl. In her crate. In my bathroom. She didn't tear into all the pillows at the same time and leave a cloudy mess in one room. Oh, no. She knows she's a Poodle, and she's supposed to be smart, and a mess such as that is a job best left to a much lesser breed. A French Bulldog, perhaps or a Chihuahua. A creature of such grace and intelligence as a Standard Poodle would never leave behind evidence of her appetite for destruction. Instead, she scattered little clues in various places in my home so I might think she was up to shenanigans, but I wouldn't have any hard evidence to prove it. As clever as any Standard Poodle may be, we humans are twice as much. And so my plan for out-foxing my Poodle was simple: get new pillows. I opted for pillow covers over inserts, thinking if I saw so much as a frayed thread in one of the covers I'd be able to replace it quickly and cheaply before the pesky Poodle could sink her teeth into it and rip out its fluffy guts. I found what I wanted, and when I went to check out I made sure I wouldn't have to wait long for the shipment, and some relief, to arrive. The covers came a day early, but the day I was supposed to get these inserts, nothing. The day after, nothing. Finally, I got an email the next day saying the inserts had not yet shipped. It took two more days before the pillow inserts were finally at my door. And so what was supposed to be a two-day wait turned into five days. Three extra days of finding soggy, puffy balls of fluff in precarious locations. The pillows themselves are fine. Just what I ordered, exactly as described. But the delay in shipping put a huge, cottony damper on what was supposed to be a relaxing Thanksgiving break away from my extended family.

Very nice pillows, but not quite firm enough for couch cushions

I bought these to replace the stuffing in couch cushions (the back rest pillows). I bought 26" cushions and the couch covers are 24" and they look perfect. The pillows themselves are very nice and fluffy with a consistent fill. There are no clumps whatsoever. The pillows look better than they did with the original stuffing when it was new. It turned out the material in the old cushions was folded over batting. As others mentioned, these pillows arrive vacuum sealed in plastic and inflate when the plastic is cut. I tried placing a pillow in a pillow case and then cutting the plastic. I then had to work the plastic out. I preferred cutting the plastic, removing the pillow, and quickly placing the pillow in the pillow case. You have a few minutes before the pillows are at maximum size. I found I had more than enough time with my pillow cases. You results may vary. The only reason I did not give these pillows 5 stars is the lack of firmness. The pillows do not weigh much considering their level of firmness, which I found impressive, but they are not firm enough for me. They will work for the couches they are on because they are mostly for looks and rarely sat on. When I do sit down and lean back, the pillows compress to what seems to be an inch thick. You might be thinking that these are pillows and not couch cushions, but my new couch came with decorative pillows that are much firmer than these. Even if not used as couch cushions, I would prefer a firmer pillow. If you were considering replacing back rest couch cushions/pillows, I would not recommend these. If you want decorative pillows that are nice and light that do not need to be firm, these may be perfect for you. And on a side note, count your cushions before you begin removing the plastic. I bought two 4 packs and received 7 pillows. They were in a box as individual pillows and not two 4 packs. Amazon customer service initially wanted all 7 sent back, but this would have been difficult to box up since I already opened 3 pillows and they were in couch cushions. I got customer service to agree to allow me to send back 3 pillows to get a 4 shipped to me. I had first asked them to send me 1 pillow, but they would not do that.

Nicest Pillow Inserts!

The media could not be loaded. As you can see from my video I feel these are the nicest pillow inserts I’ve purchased from Amazon. Acanva is the brand & the price for 4 is well worth the quality I received. These are soft with the feel of cotton on the outside. They’re described with polyester on the inside. These are plump, full & completely fill out all the edges of the pillow. I use 18x18 pillow covers to make the pillow fuller. I never have an issue getting the pillow in this size covering. There is nice support if you were to lay on them. I use mine for decorative purposes but still very nice. I couldn’t happier with these inserts & definitely recommend!

These are as advertised. Soft, puffy and comfortable. Not much support as they squish down quite a bit, but would be great in a smaller pillow case.

Love these!

I threw them in the dryer on low for 15 minutes -2 at a time- and they plumped up perfectly. The pillow cases that I ordered were both listed as 12x20 but, one pair was clearly a bit bigger. I still like how these inserts fit both. A little contrast is good!

Good product for the money

We have only used the cushions for a few days but they definitely look like they are good quality. The finish on the cover is very good. The cushions are soft but they also provide good back support. Good product for the money.

Awesome

I previously bought this size at a department store and they no longer had them. Luckily there’s amazon! Came in a 4 pack, wasn’t sure how they would come but they were all packed in one box, all the air was sucked out of the bags amd they were FLAT! But I let them air out a couple days and they puffed up! We love these pillows, and they are huge perfect for the couch.
