I use this bowl every day

I had a set of bowls like these from 10 Strawberry Street purchased around 1990. I used them all the time. The last one cracked recently, so I bought these. They are heavier than the original ones I had, and my wife doesn't like them for this reason. But I like these better because the sides don't flare out like the old ones did, so the bowl holds more food that the old ones, and food like blueberries don't roll out so easily.

Love these

So I've been using these for the past couple weeks, love them. My family always had these heavy stoneware dishes that I could never stand. Turns out my undiagnosed ADHD is why, cause I've never liked heavy dishware, silverware or mixing bowls and have always dug through the drawers for the lightweight forks and spoons etc. I really wanted to ditch all the plastic and have something nice and sturdy but not too heavy. So I got these. And they literally are the perfect balance of everything. Definitely recommend them!

Sturdy, nice quality, white pasta bowls

We have had two sets of these bowls for about 6 months. Our family LOVES using these for pasta, hearty soups and stews, salads, and our favorite -- Chipolte or Asian style rice bowls! A favorite feature is that my high quality, stainless flatware does not leave any scratches/marks. I'm extremely happy with them.

Inexpensive Extra Dishes - But Not White!

I was looking for plain white dinner plates, as our set only has 6, and we very occasionally have a need for 8 or more. These seemed ideal, and are perfectly serviceable as a dinner plate. They clean up well, are microwave safe, stack well; all the stuff you'd expect of a dinner plate. Except that, when put beside my actual white dishes, these are, in fact, more gray than white. It wasn't that big a deal to me, but if true white is your aim, you might want to look further.

Beautiful and versatile

I bought these plates to supplement a used set of china that was missing a few pieces. They are a lovely addition and can be used for either special occasions or everyday use.

Not white

Not white, as described. They are a very light grey. Solid and well packaged. Would be perfect if they were actually white as advertised. Returning them.

These are perfect!

I had been looking at pasta bowls for awhile and decided to go with these simple pure white. They are a bit larger than I had expected, more the size of a dinner plate, but we love them! Use them almost daily. They are so versatile.

Are these genuine "10 Strawberry Street" ?

They arrived very well packed by Amazon and undamaged. I had previously bought four of there bowls from Marks and Spencers here in the U.K. but they no longer stock them, so i was looking for replacements. The originals were excellent quality. These were of lower quality. The original label on the base was underneath the glaze - these had "stick-on" labels. The originals were brilliant white colour - these were greyish. The originals had the standing part of the base covered in smooth glaze - these were unglazed pottery. As the Amazon cost was the same price as I paid in M & S. I am left wondering if these are genuine articles and have paid top money for inferior goods.

Great bowls

I bought these for my son at Christmas and he is so happy with them that he uses the bowls for everything they eat. Lol Very nice look and they go with any table setting. Reasonable price too.
