Love this product
I was surprised that it actually kept my vegetables fresh. I’ve never used a vacuum type of product before, but this one works and does what it says it does. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great for storing coffee
I roast my own coffee, so I like to keep the roasted beans in an air tight canister. These zwilling contianers are great. I vacuum out the air and the beans stay fresher longer. The first three days after roasting, the beans release some gas, so the canister has to be vacuum sealed each day during that initial period, but otherwise it’s airtight. I took one star off because I have received one canister in this size (out of 4) that leaks. I’ve also had that problem with another larger size. I had already used the defective ones so I didn’t return them. I suggest that when you get these, vacuum seal them empty and check the next day to see it they leak. If they do, return them.

Zwilling containers are good when they work, but there is a known failure rate for the containers.
Having watched some YouTube Influencers, I came across the Zwilling through "Scandish Home." I also have the FoodSaver brand of Vacuum Food Savers, which is effective, but is a little bit clumsy to use on a daily basis... where it shines is for long-term storage, both in the freezer, and the pantry. I intended the Zwilling to "fill the gap" of everyday use in the refrigerator. To that end, most of my refrigerated foods, and leftovers, are now in Zwilling bags, and containers, which is very convenient. The advantage the Zwilling offers is that you can open the bag or container, use what you need, and then vacuum seal the remainder in the same bag or container without much fuss. That said, when the Zwilling bag or container works, it's easy and convenient, and a little awesome in that your food will last longer... allowing you to buy in bulk to save money. Unfortunately, the valves on the bags and containers are not particularly robust, they are sensitive to pressure, and jostling, so a successful vacuum can be "sabotaged" by relatively minor movement of the valves. In some cases, this is certainly caused by improper usage of the bag or container (I admit that I had to learn how to stack them), but in other cases it is clear that the bag or container, was not manufactured well. While I don't intend to extrapolate a failure percentage... I will share that of the 4 containers I have (1 glass, 3 plastic), the lid to the medium-sized plastic container failed... and of the approximately 10 bags that I am commonly using, 1 of the medium-sized bags failed. The bags are cheap enough that a small failure rate is acceptable to me (mostly because I don't have to trim, and seal, a vacuum roll in my FoodSaver.) However, when it comes to the containers, the failure rate is more problematic, because Zwilling does not sell the lids separately (so you can't replace a defective lid), and the containers are expensive. Therefore, it behooves you to test your containers as soon as you get them, and if you end up with a defective lid to your container, your only option is to return the lot, and try again. Not a really great option. I still like the Zwilling, and will continue to use it, however, I will focus on using the bags a much as possible, and steer away from the containers, until it becomes possible to replace any defective lids. All of this said, I unfortunately give Zwilling the glowing review I had hope I would be able to provide.

Bought a few more because they save me money!
I read other reviews about the seals not keeping. I realized that when this happened it was because I overfilled the container. These are easy to clean, and really do keep the food fresh for a long, long time. High price that pays for itself over time. Worth the investment

Keeps food fresh much longer
Use it with the Zwilling Fresh & Save vacuum pump. Vacuum seal container to keep food fresh for very long time. Very good quality thick glass containers.

A versatile item
I liked everything about this item. I have peeled garlic in one. Chopped parsley in another. Still very fresh after 3 weeks

Greta product but small size is useless
For those wondering the small size is too small and largely useless imo. The medium and large are really good. My favorite is the plastic large.

Needs extra items
Either I did not read the description fully or it is not clear. I did not realize that I would need to purchase a pump to have these be fully effective. I ended up returning them as i found them to be expensive to begin with never mind adding the cost of the pump. Just didn't seem worth it to me.
