Excellent for a Great Price..!!!
I've been looking for some time for truly insulated gloves that I can wear in extreme cold and still use my hands. These are pretty thick, very warm and flexible enough that I can do pretty much any outdoor job while wearing them.

reasonably warm and not excessively bulky
Provided you don't compress them, these seem to be quite warm. I use them mainly while snow blowing with a tractor. At 5 to 10 deg F fingers get cold IF they are grabbing steering wheel, if not fingers are fine. They don't seem to be exactly water proof but better detailed as repellant. Few gloves really are water proof for a long time. The insulation is thicker than many gloves and fingers sometimes need to adjust insulation to go in holes. Outside seems durable for normal use but I have only had a few months. All in all, very good value for the money.

Warm hands
These gloves were stated to be warm in very cold weather and with 200 gram of Thinsulate and with the research my son did before buying these gloves all indicates that these gloves should be warm. They were not cheap but not outrages so I would have expected them to be as stated warm in very cold weather. They were not. He used them twice for a couple of air soft wars with his friends this winter in a barn. He stated that his hands got cold not long after he began their war games. Maybe just walking and hiding during their games did not keep the blood circulating though out his hands. I suppose there are really no gloves that does keep ones hands warm in extreme weather if one does not keeping moving or keep active. My son said that he thinks the gloves are okay and would work in temps around 30's. He says the fit is nice and the high wrist coverage is also a nice feature. He has not used them since. Construction of the gloves seems sturdy and the stitching looks good but time will tell and with use or how much use it gets will determine the quality of the workmanship.

Arborist working in the north
I’m an arborist and we own a farm. I work outside regardless of the weather or temperatures. I got these in Nov 2018 and used them immediately during a 6 hour day in the single digit temps. They stayed dry and are holding up quite well even when I’m pulling throned bushes, rugged/rough wood etc. I’ve worked in a deep snow storm already and these gloves kept my hands dry. I have to add hot hands to the gauntlet part when it’s below 20 degrees but that’s because I have poor circulation (my hands are cold even in summer). My only problem with these is that the pull elastic to tighten gauntlet loosens really quickly while working. It’s been a pain if I don’t put my gloves on and then put coat on to keep gloves tucked into the cuff of coat. But besides that, they’ve been great. I’ll update if they make it through this winter season in one piece.

Very Warm Indeed
I've only had these for about three weeks now, but already I am fully satisfied with them. Most importantly, they keep my hands *very* warm, even when it goes down below zero in this mad weather we're having in the northeast. Seriously--I've been out for hours on end with these things at times, and not once have I felt the smallest nip in my hands. So long as they don't fall apart on me in a few years, I'll say these gloves are definite winners. They do have a notable and obvious downside for anyone who needs to manipulate small objects: they're very bulky and will hardly even let you control your car keys in the morning. To me that's not a minus, but for those who need to maintain finer finger control, do look elsewhere. One other cautionary note should be made: get them a full size larger than you think you need. I have medium-sized hands, but I still needed these in.

They don't work by themselves
Bought these to use with snowblower. I like the extended cuff, water proof, work type material, & 200 gram Thinsulate. Used them today in 4 degree weather with -10 windchill, they did not work. After about fifteen minutes my fingers were getting extremely cold & I have heated hand grips on my snow blower. Went back to my 40 gram Thinsulate gloves that I have used in the past in these conditions. I did get these to work by putting some cheap brown jersey gloves inside of them, then they were fine. But with 200 grams of Thinsulate a person shouldn't have to. If they do have that amount in them, it is in the cuff & back of glove, definitely not in finger area where it is really needed. As far as lining pulling out when removing your hand that other reviewers mentioned, was minimal for my experience. I did have to push the liner all the way to end of little finger for it to fit correctly on first try on my hands. I definitely do not think they are worth the price with the mod I had to do to get them to work for me, you may be different.

Pump up the Thinsolite...
These gloves do a good job as far as waterproofing issues go, but it takes very little time for my hands to get cold when working at 20 degrees F.

They are comfortable and they are water proof
So far this winter, they are my new go too gloves. Warm and comfortable, whether clearing snow , in the bush or ice fishing. Dry hands equal good day

Marginal in keeping hands warm in cold wet weather. ...
Marginal in keeping hands warm in cold wet weather. My hands did stay dry but they did feel damp. Not sure why. The exterior glove got a very soggy feeling. As others have commented on the inner "glove" is difficult to slip into if your hands are damp. It took some time to be able to work all of my fingers into the glove fingers even when dry. Inner lining seemed to fold over, blocking entry into the finger. I would suggest going for the next size up to get additional comfort and maybe allow you to wear a very light pair of gloves for additional warmth. Do not know what type of glove to use that would not bind with the inner material. I would buy another pair when the ones I have wear out.

So-so
Like other reviews say, the liner slides out, so pretty much every time you put it on or take it off, you have to push the finger liner back into each finger. It's kind of annoying. The glove itself is pretty good, pretty durable, but nothing special. The weak spot on yougstown gloves is always the stitching, not the material. Overall, not bad, but not great either.

perfect
I bought these gloves for my boyfriend. He loves them. When he originally looked at them he said they were bulky but after wearing them for a few minutes he said they were perfect. You can move your fingers around in them perfectly. They do not feel bulky when they're on and keep him nice and warm even in Canada's -40 weather. They also arrived before the date they were suppose to, which is nice.

Great gloves! I work in a -30 freezer for 8 hours a night and I don't get cold hands. they are absolutely waterproof, so waterproof in fact that if you sweat in them the sweat stays inside the glove. liners are a must unless you like sogginess! I am very happy with these gloves and will order again, thank you for the great product and fast shipping
