Go to for quick garden clips
I expected these pruners to be a little more noteworthy, but when I took them to my Birds of Paradise, these had me hacking away at each leaf. They were easy enough to work one-handed, but I had to take multiple passes to one clipping like I would if these had been scissors. I used them on other parts of the garden, and for some simple pruning in the garden, these worked fine, but if I want to get to some heftier cuttings, I'm taking to my old reliable rusted pair to get the job done.

Fat handle pruners
These are decent budget pruners, with a nice sharp blade and mostly metal construction. I have large hands, so the fat handle doesn't bother me much, but if I had to use these all day, or I had small hands, I'd be less into the handle.

Easy to hold it
It’s good to cut my rose plants. It’s easy to hold onto it.

Budget cutters
These do the job but not as nicely as high end pruners (like Felco). They seem sturdy but they are not particularly comfortable to hold for an extended period and it requires more effort to cut with these than with high quality pruners. If you are an occasional gardener, then these will probably do. But if you’re a serious gardener, you’re going to need to get better pruners and spend more.

Does not cut well
I got this Worx Pruner to trim shrubs and other outdoor plants, however, it does not work as well as I had hoped. It is well made and sturdy, but the blade is not that sharp. I do appreciate the safety feature of being able to lock the blades closed simply by sliding a small knob. The handles are easy to grip but if you have small hands, it will be difficult for you to use. They open a little over 4 inches, which I find slightly difficult to grip, and I have long fingers. The part I was most disappointed about is that they are not too sharp. These pruners tend to just squish instead of making a clean cut. I have to try multiple times and even then, on thicker stems, they still won't completely cut. I used a knife sharpener which did help a little. Overall, this Worx Pruner is sturdy but does not function as well for the intended purpose.

Quality Pruners But Not Super Comfortable To Hold
like Worx products…I have a number of them actually. And I’ve never had a problem with any of them. So when I saw this pair of pruners by them, I figured they’d be nice to have on hand. These pruners are very well constructed and have a solid feel to them unlike a lot of the imported garden tools you see. And they do cut very well. I tested them out trimming off a few dead branches on the tree in my backyard. I had no trouble cutting through branches up to 1/2” in diameter. My only complaint about this set of pruners is that they are not the most comfortable to hold or to use. The whole angle of them just seems wrong. Maybe it’s just me, but I need my garden tools to be comfortable to use, or they’ll just sit in the shed untouched. I like this set of Worx pruners. They’re well made and very capable cutting small branches. I’ll still use them even though they’re not the most comfortable pruners I’ve ever used.

Pretty good
These seem to work decently well. I was able to cut through a variety of wood types without needing to use too much hand strength. From time to time they seemed to want to crush the wood more than they wanted to cut it, but that happens with all my bypass pruners/cutters so I can't say it's specific to this one. They all do it. I do think they could be a bit sharper. The locking mechanism works well to keep the blades closed when not in use and is not hard to lock/unlock. Overall, these feel like heavy duty pruners that are made to last. I might give these a sharpening come spring time, but I usually sharpen all my garden tools at that time so that's an extra step I always take anyway!

Fairly wide grip. Not great for small hands.
Unfortunately these have a wide grip that doesn't accommodate my small hands much. I can still use them but not as comfortably as the YiLi pruner I reviewed alongside this pruner. The blade appears to be yellowish metal however I see no indication that they are titanium coated blades. They seem to cig perfectly fine. But the true value will be in how long they last and stay sharp. Given they are brand new zi cannot give them a full assessment until maybe a year or more of use. For now this review is based solely on what I am able to experience with them, especially the ergonomics.
