A very good, inexpensive pan
I buy aluminum pans like this for everyday cooking. They're a great value and can be found in many restaurant supply stores. The walls aren't quite as thick as a super expensive sauce pan, but they're much thicker than steel pans and the aluminum does a great job of distributing heat. If you can't afford an expensive sauce pan these will do in a pinch. I use all the time for puddings and other dishes that require milk. Just stir while cooking. Steel pans can burn even while you're stirring. Also great for heating up soup or just about anything really. Easy to clean, steel wool does the trick. The handle is a little rough, just use some steel wool and it'll get rid of the excess roughness.

Heavy Duty
This is a nice pan, very sturdy and well-made at a great price. My only complaint is this pan is heavy even when empty and becomes awkwardly heavy when full. That makes it difficult to hold up & pour out the contents, even with both hands.

A work horse in the bbq arena
Excellent especially for the price. A work horse at professional bbq competitions. Addressing issues in other reviews. 1. Label removal. If it doesn’t peel off clean. Heat with a hair dryer and it will peel off clean. Any residual glue can be removed by rubbing cook oil on the glue. 2. The thin handle is so when using a chefs side towel to move the pan, it fits comfortably in the hand and not so thick. Towel provided heat protection. 3. Properly wash & dry per the directions before first use. Properly season with a high smoke point neutral oil. Vegetable, peanut or canola oil. Vegetable oil has a higher smoke point than vegetable shorten. Wipe a thin coat on to season as not to let melted oil pool in the pan. Season 3 times before first use. Allow complete cooling in between. Approximately 20 minutes heating and 40 minutes cooling. Season periodically. 4. Do not let foods sit in pan after cooking. 5. Hand wash only & dry. 6. Proper care will keep it from spotting and discoloring.

Great cookware, cooks fast, perfect for ceramic stove tops and the price is a steal.
This is excellent cookware at a fantastic price. Many complain about getting the label off but we have never had an issue. We have a few pieces of Winware and it just out classes our expensive teflon coated pans. We use this on a ceramic cooktop stove and always get excellent results. It requires less heat to cook with, you can control the heat instantly and we love that it will boil water in less than half the time as opposed to our teflon pans. We get 4-6 quarts of water for pasta to boil in 5-8 minutes. No issue with anything sticking either, another benefit of being able to cook at a lower temp. We did season the pan, just a light spay of some canola or vegetable oil and heat the pan on medium. Don't let it get to the smoking point and then just let the pan cool. Seasoning the pan makes a lot of difference. I did see a few reviews about the handles being a weak spot but this pan and the other Winware we purchased all have heavy duty handles that are secured with very robust rivets and would require cutting or drilling to get them out. The only consideration is obvious and that is the handles do get hot so a pot holder is mandatory. This will last for decades and always provide a consistent result.
