Heavy duty, professional fry basket

I have no used this basket yet but it is very sturdy, heavy material. I purchased to make ravioli, I use it to put the ravioli into the boiling water and to take them out of the pot when done. This basket is great because it has a flat bottom and will sit up straight on the counter. I recommend this product.

A Lot cheaper than a fryer

I decided I missed my electric fryer, but not enough to buy a new one, so I bought this basket to fit in my largest pot. Now I can "deep fry" on the rare occasion that I need to, without the expense and hassle of having another appliance sitting on the counter. It works great, and I just ran it through the dishwasher to get it clean. The only thing I would've liked it to have is a couple of "hooks" on the handle side of the basket for resting it on the lip of the pot. Otherwise, it's perfect.
