Good Wok, cleans easily
Like the stainless steel. Cleans easily. It can take the heat. The large size allows to cook a meal at a time. Good surface. Be sure to get a ring for it to sit on the burner. Handle is welded nicely on. No problem holding on to it while cooking but it's better to use a ring with it.

Just as advertised
I am too abusive to the natural oil layer ona carbon steel wok... And any WOK with a non stick coating is Teflon based and can release dangerous chemicals at normal wok temps.... This SST one is perfect for me, handles high temps, steaming baskets and boiling without rust, it appears to have been passivated well...

Great product
One of the few stainless Woks i have been able to find. Perfect size for stir frying 1-2 person meals. Easy clean up with it being stainless. Thin so it performs as a wok should in responding to changes in temp instantly. It is a flat bottom wok, however barely so. a portion of the bottom is flat but it has a smooth curve from the small flat bottom up to the sides so there are no hard edges or corners. Be careful as with the handle it can easily become off balance because the flat part is quite small. A helper handle would have been nice and the handle it self gets warm/hot after a while. Recommend grabbing it with a towel. Overall a great product and far more durable than a non stick or carbon steel wok, and more authentic than the other stainless steel woks which are thick and retain heat in ways a wok shouldn't.

One bad thing-it rocks on flat stovetop
The order came in a beat up box without any instruction, but it arrived fast though. It's a perfect cookware except that it rocks and rotates on a flat stovetop if you don't have enough food in the wok to hold it down and keep it from rocking and moving in circles on the stove. It's fun to look at it rock and roll though.

Cleanup is super easy. For stoves that don't use gas
I've used this for 6 months. I don't have gas so the wok only gets hot in the center. It gets (very) hot quickly being stainless and cooks at a higher temperature than aluminum-teflon combos so I switched from olive to grapeseed oil to not burn the oil. Cleanup is super easy. For stoves that don't use gas, this wok doesn't make a lot of sense, though. Heat will only travel to the bottom center portion that comes into contact with the stovetop/coil, so you'll be using this more like a pan than a wok. The extra size helps from things splashing onto your stove, but that's about it.

I wanted a great stainless wok that would be the "be all and end all". I "think" this could be it. It's done a great job with my stir fries, but one thing it has a tendency to do is dance... when it gets heated up, it starts wobbling and turning around in circles. I bought one of the wok rings, but I've been a little bit lazy and left it the cabinet (it's way in the back behind all the pots and pans, so can you blame me? LOL). For the price, it's a great deal.

Perfect wok for real Chinese cooking
Since I am Chinese, I needed a new wok with the traditional round bottom. Got the burner ring to go with it, so it didn't wobble. Welded seams are smooth and finished. Wok is perfectly round, so the *chan* works perfectly with it. Will have this wok for a long time.
