says low waist but hits 3" ABOVE my belly button

I'm 5 feet 9 inches and the rise is so long, this could almost double as a bra. Also, i think they run a big. I wear a 12-14 in womens and a 15 in juniors, but i could have gone with an 11 as this is about 4 inches too big in the waist. This might be why this size was on a great sale. I am going to try some alterations to get them to fit better. The material is a standard denim twill, thick and soft with no stretch. very comfy, but very roomy.

Ordered a size 1, more like a size 7.

Jeans are marked as a size 1, definitely closer to a size 7. Not low waisted.

I can fit my whole fist next to my belly in size 1 jeans. I'm waist 26inches I like the scratches and cutouts. I love the color

These are not low rise jeans

These jeans fit well, but are not low rise like product description said. They are super high rise above the belly button. I liked them and will probably keep them though! Ordered size 11, 5'4".
