My 2 furries need this curry
This curry brush is superior to so many others before it & that ended up in the recycler because they fell apart! Excellent quality. Oversized when compared to so many others. Comfortable to hold. Cleaning is as easy as using a vacuum wand to suck the hair out of the brush. Highly recommend!

Great for skin sensitive dogs!!
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this is amazing. I bought this brush for my German Shepherd/chow rescue dog. He is almost 7 and has never liked to be brushed. Likely because he had to have hip surgery when he was very little. It is a major struggle every year when he blows his coat. I have to wrestle and fight him for every trauma filled moment. Then give him ALL the treats. I pulled this brush out of the box, and he was definitely skeptical (as was I) because we have pretty close to every brush out there. He actually laid down and let me brush him. He still doesn’t lime his back legs done, but WOW!! This brush did great at removing the upper layers of hair and my dog didn’t fight the entire time. Definitely a win win!!

Not for a sensitive opiniated mare
It is well conceived: light, good hand-fit, good size, nice design. Unfortunatly my mare is very sensitive and particularly reactive to anything new; she did not take to it, moving aside and rolling her eyes - even when I used it ultra lightly to accostum her to the new feeling. So, I would not recommend it off the bat for "sensitive" horses. My mare loves her curry comb from Posture Prep by Patricia Bona and I doubt she will settle for this new curry comb any time soon! But I am not giving up on it and will continue to introduce it intermitently. In the mean time, it it very good at cleaning the brushes...

Works extremely well - no discomfort to the horse
I have a horse with sensitive skin who absolutely hates being brushed. It's difficult to curry using a metal bladed brush on any horse. This brush removes all of the discomfort associated with using a metal curry while doing a great job in knocking off dirt/mud and sweat just like a metal curry. I am finding that the brush also seems to soothe and shines the coat, apparently by disseminating natural hair oil. I am using the brush on all of my horses and find that it does a good job. My only critique is that the brush could be a tad larger,... although that might effect the use and ability to work so well if it were too bulky.

Good
Shorter than the other Whal brushes, the nibs are harder (hurts to curry your own skin), so probably not good for sensitive horses. Other wise nice

Happy dogs
I finally found a brush that my shepherds will let me brush them down with. They even nudged my hand for more when I stopped. While it doesn’t remove the undercoat the way a furminator does, this works well for lifting dirt and giving their coats a nice shine.

A great curry brush, but ...
Good quality product, but it's too small : male adult here, Wahl makes a bigger size one of this same curry brush, saw it in a store after the fact ... That's definitely the one you should get.
