Removing a star b/c the lid isn’t air tight!

I love these except for one thing - the lid is just a totally flat piece that rests on top! It doesn’t snap on or hold on in any way - doesn’t prevent water from spilling as you walk to fridge! Most importantly, the lid doesn’t keep out the stinky fridge air from my old apartment freezer! for me, that is really a huge downside, thats why I got a lid! The lid just flops around uselessly! That being said, I absolutely love the size of the ice cubes, and the metal frame to help keep it from flopping so you can put it into the fridge when full of water is very useful. I can fit 3 of the cubes into a regular 24oz Nalgene bottle (Nalgene have a wider lid than your average water bottle), and 4 into my 36 oz! The lid does allow it to stack nicely with itself even when the water is not at all frozen yet, which is somewhat helpful. But get yourself a functional lid, and get 5 stars!

Great Ice tray. But you have to take the good with the bad

Silicone is great because it allows you to flex the tray to easily remove the ice. The bad thing is the flex in other molds make the water fall out when carrying the tray to the freezer. They remedied this by adding the metal frame inside. The other bad thing about silicone is the off flavors that start to develop. You have to periodically put the mold in the oven at 350° for at least an hour to get rid of the smells/flavors in your ice.

It’s cute

Overall it’s a decent ice tray- I wish that there was a channel that allowed the cubes to be filled evenly, but my biggest complaint is that the ice tastes like hose water. If you haven’t had hose water- it’s like a rubber chemical taste. I can’t seem to get rid of it. The first time it was noticeable, the second and third time not so much, but now I can’t seem to get rid of it.

Best ice trays on the market by far!

By far these are THE BEST ice trays on the market. All the others, and I've tried a lot of them, are useless! This item comes with a lid, fills easily, the cubes are a large size perfect for smoothie drinks (after blended) and removes easily. I'm bummed I wasted money on all the other cheaper silicone trays I bought. Yes, these cost a few dollars more than the inferior trays but are far better all the way around. I plan to buy more. Perfect

Easy to use Stable slab ice cube trays

These are great and very stable. I bought these to replace older slab ice cube trays that were much flimsier. Because of the lid these are more stable and much easier to use.

Works perfectly when using chilled water

It makes excellent rectangular cubes that fit easily into my wide-mouthed thermos type bottle. However, if you use tap water that is not pre-chilled, the cubes instantly break into smaller pieces, defeating the advantage of using the larger cubes. I tried dropping the cubes into water that had been chilled in the refrigerator, and these cubes worked perfectly.

Nice Ice

Good ice, nice tray and useful lid. Everything is very good quality - perfect for water bottles. Only reason its 4 stars is because it doesn't make 'perfect' rectangles (some are wider and have curved edges) and it took a while to arrive

Best ice cube trays

Who knew there was such a difference between the regular ice cube trays that come with your freezer and these silicon ones. 100% recommend. My mom loved them so much when visiting that she asked for them as her birthday present!

Great product!

Great product, makes great easy diy Collins ice cubes. Only downside being that the ice cubes tend to be large for the average Collins glass. I’ve taken to filling each hole for the cubes half full and it works just fine. All in all great product.

The best Collins qube tray I've found yet

The solid frame holds the trays shape until the water can turn to ice and the cube don't bow out in the middle. As a bonus, the rigidity of the frame also makes it easier to push the cubes out as well.
