Quality Item for those who need some compression just not "medical" grade.

First let me say that I see these not being a "medical" grade compression as an advantage. I have an inflammation issue in my right foot/leg and these do help me greatly around the ankle and foot. I tried their calf sock first as I find medical grade calf socks to be too tight at the end of the tube for me typically. I liked the calf socks but wanted to try these to see if I really need a calf length sock. I find these work just as well on my foot and ankle and leave a minor compression line at the top of the tube on my leg. Both these work great when I am roller skating and will try them skiing this year. The sizing on these socks is correct to me and I very much like the material and I cold water wash these in my washer with my other clothes and air dry [they are practically dry right out of the washer]. Very comfortable across a wide range of temperature and humidity for me. The only thing I can think of that might make them nicer would be to add a bit more to the shaft length and use the weave type they use on their Compression Ligament Support crew sock for a softer ending. I have been using the calf socks for 4 months and these for 2 months every week [2 pair of each - just ordered another pair of each because I was still using one other brand of calf sock as a test comparison or fill in]. I do not detect any issues with wear on any of these socks yet.

Better than most others

I'm not sure why but the makers of these products usually make them so tight and size them so small that you can not even get them on or use them. In this case I ordered a large for a size 8.5 - 9 foot because I knew they would be on the small side. They are a bit tough to get on but they do fit and well enough and I can keep them on for a while. Once on they do feel good and definitely help to prevent / reduce swelling significantly...Just be careful to order on the large end of your size and try them on right away so you can return them if they are too tight to get on or too tight to keep on.

Comfortable Performance Socks

Thought I would give these socks a try based on other reviews I read. Very happy with these socks so far. Wore them for a tennis match last weekend and found them very comfortable with just the right amount of compression. Seemed to keep my otherwise very sweaty feet dry for the match. Very happy with the quality of these socks so far and plan to purchase more in the future.

Great sock...cheaper options

Great socks. They work well. But there are other cheaper options that are equally effective. They are pretty tight fit, so consider ordering next size up from what you might normally wear.

They really help support my sore flat feet w/ good ankle support. As with any other compression stocking they are a little harder to put on but my feet are thanking me and helps with the tingling I have from neuropathy, RA and DVT problems. Just part of my arsenal against foot pain. Wear them to be for a good nights rest.

Not for medical compression

Compression is below 10mmHg and not graduated (in arch it's about 10-15 mmHg) - not for medical use. Compression does not extend to ball of foot. If your edema is mild and doesn't extend up the calf, you could try the Vitalsox VT6810. For an actual medical grade, below-the-calf compression sock, consider the Ames Walker 130 - $13 prime.

I have a weak ankle and these socks help reduce swelling and gives great support when I am on my feet more than and longer than I want to. I very much like the short size for easy of putting on and removing. It's almost like a regular sock, except there is great support.
