Quills Scrape Surfaces

This duster is ok. I dislike it because the quills extend to the ends of the feathers and so they scrape along the surface being dusted. For this reason, the feathers are also stiff so dusting is not effective. I would not buy this duster again and rarely use this one.

It's So Fun to Use!

Dusting is a 'Snap' with this feather duster! I actually enjoy dusting since I purchased this feather duster. The Unger Ostrich feathers pick up and holds the dust for about 4 to 6 items dusted, then you have to go outside to shake the dust out and continue dusting. It really makes a long job fast. And, it's fun! Absolutely superior on picture frames, tedious small things, anything hanging on your walls (art, mirrors, etc.) I even dust my beautiful turn of the century Edwardian feather hats with this duster...the feathers, lace, material, and silk roses look so well preserved and clean. All because of the superior Unger Ostrich feathers! A wonderful duster is all I can say...just wonderful!

Fewer feathers, different handle

I ordered this duster as a replacement for the same model I've been using for about 3 years. The feathers start deteriorating after a few years in service. The handle no longer has a hanging loop, as shown in the picture. There are about 1/3 fewer feathers in the new duster, compared to the old one. This is no longer an "industrial" duster - it's more a light house duty consumer level duster. I'll also mention that Ace Hardware shipped the duster in a padded envelope, for $1.50, yet charged $7.00 in phony handling charges. The duster is probably worth its $7.00 price, but not $14.00.

Good, but…

I like using this feather duster that fits in my unger pole. But they smell like moth balls.

not as full as I expected

Awful Smell!!!

I hung the feather duster in a storage closet. Days later I noticed a horrible smell emanating from the closet- it was the duster!!! Absolutely overwhelming bad smell. I couldn’t get it out of our house fast enough!!! Do not recommend. ZERO STARS

Feathers fall out

Used this duster for about 2 weeks then the feathers started falling out. These used to be better quality. I was able to salvage about 10 feathers and hot glued them back in. The only saving grace for this duster is the handle can be screwed onto a broom stick for extension.
