Good but small

Its a nice rope halter, yet it's very much pony/cob size. I was lucky enough that my 14.3 h cob size horse was able to fit it, but even on him it would be nicer if it was slightly bigger. In addition the attached lead rope is the same gauge of rope as used in the halter so it is rather thin.

Cute, But light weight

I love the way this halter looks, however the rope is very thin. I originally planned to use it for a horse that pulled back, but instantly thought better upon receiving. Works great on my super mellow old guy!

The nose band is very stiff and the lead is thin

I love the look and color of this halter and it’s still a great halter to use for pictures but I wouldn’t recommend it for daily use. The rawhide nose band is really stiff and I’m concerned that with daily use that it would rub a horse raw. The lead rope is also much thinner than any lead rope I’ve seen for a horse- it’s about the same diameter as a mini horse lead.

Not as sturdy as other rope halters

This halter would be great for a horse that doesn’t pull. The halter itself isn’t as sturdy as I though it would be. This halter runs a little small, and would be great for “easy” horses

I purchased this item for my daughter. She loves rope halters but this one was different than hers and she loved it. She would like to purchase more of this item.

Not worth the cost

Bulky, noseband is nothing like the ones I have. Rough texture. The cute looking "tassels" feel like blond Barbie doll hair! Disappointed to day the least.
