Quality comfort, but pricey

These socks are marvelous -not too much padding to bunch up. So far they have taken a washing much better than cheaper socks advertising the same benefits. They are expensive, but worth it.

I knew it is a diabetic sock and it is comfortable but does not have the cushion thickness I expected. The Thorlo hiking socks have more cushion. It is Thorlo so it is a good product and highly recommend it for persons who do not need as much cushion as i.

Thorlos socks are the best!

I have purchased and worn Thorlos socks before trying the advanced diabetic socks. The Thorlos Advanced Diabetic Socks are GREAT, the best diabetic socks I have ever worn. Soft, comfortable and the elastic was just right. Wore a pair today for 8 hours and they out performed all the others. The reason Thorlos are higher priced is because of the high quality. Remember to turn inside out and no hot dryers.

Buy them but be aware that They Shrink - so, get a larger size and DO NOT Dry in a Dryer in any heat setting.

Really liked the first pair of these socks until they went thru the wash/dryer 2x. THEY SHRINK!?! After two trips thru, they were borderline too small and I had dried them on low,low along with other poly stuff which does not shrink. I used to get 'the world's softest sock' but they began shrinking after 2-3 trips thru the laundry/dryer. So... I searched and searched for another soft kind of sock and when I found these I was SO happy. Alas. It's not that my feet are growing. I think the poly yarn mfg in China or wherever has messed with the original poly formula... and that these are made with the same stuff as World's Softest shrinking socks.. ALAS ALAS ALAS. When you buy them get one size larger if possible and do NOT EVER put in a Dryer. I went ahead and bought a second pair and those have never seen the inside of a dryer and are perfectly wonderful so I plan to buy more.

Padding thickness was disappointing

These socks seem a little more padded than other diabetic socks which cost half as much. Padding is not enough to concern one about fitting into your regular shoes. Based on product description I expected more.

We like them!

My husband is a very tall man with large feet. He wears work boots for work and found most socks got sucked under his heel after walking a bit and left blisters from rubbing. He walks a lot at work and it was getting really annoying to have to pull his socks up all the time. These socks stay up and he finds the the cushioning has stopped the blisters. He’s happy. And, I’m happy to FINALLY find socks that work for him.
