Beware! Too small for some Thirstystone coasters

We bought this to hold a new set of seaside themed Thirstystone coasters but this holder was too small! The quality seemed fine. Beware and make sure to get good measurements before ordering.

Even for ten bucks, the finish could be nicer

Fits the thirstystone coasters perfectly, but the finish is extremely rough and not at all pleasant to the touch. Even at ten bucks, this could be nicer.

great product with a little refinishing

I make and sell slate coasters. While these do not have the quality finish I would like, they are cheap enough that a little refinish can be in the budget to make a quality coaster holder.

Nice Looking Coaster Holder for a Great Price

This coaster holder was too small for the coasters I wanted to put in it, but that was my fault for not reading the product description more carefully. I needed more coasters anyways so I just ordered some more to fit this holder instead. It looks nice for the price and seems like it will hold up well for a while. I personally prefer my other upright coaster holder better, just because it's slightly more difficult to get the bottom coasters out of this holder. However, when I say slightly, I mean requires about 2.5 seconds more effort if that so nothing to complain too loudly about.

Scuffed/Uneven Stain

Many of the reviews here seem at odds with one another. Some claim the holder is too large for Thirstystone coasters, and others claim too small. In deciding to buy this holder, I ignored these reviews since they seem to negate one another. I chose it simply for aesthetic purposes. And, fortunately, I experienced neither of these situations. My coasters fit perfectly into the holder. That being said, those reviews that claim visual blemishes and imperfections were quite right. The walnut stain looks scuffed or dirty. I tried to get rid of the imperfections with a damp towel, but it is a flaw in the manufacturing. It's a little disappointing. Nevertheless, the scuffs can only be seen in the right light and I still generally like the look of the holder as it sits on my table. I would like to recommend it, but I really would urge Thirstystone to double-check their manufacturing process on these first.

Sleek and simple

I've brought two of these for our two different sets of thirstystone coasters. The dark espresso is a good neutral color that goes well with any coaster of set.

Bit overpriced but works

I thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality, definitely came with nicks and irregularities in the wood. Otherwise works well and fits my coasters perfectly.

Poor finish

The holder is relatively well put together and fits the company’s coasters well. The painting/staining process used however is subpar. Uneven, discoloured and therefore cheap looking.
