It’s not water resistant

I love this coat so much. I got the XXL for my 9yo so they can wear it for a few seasons. I wish I had read the description as it’s 100% cotton inside and out. It isn’t water resistant. I put scotch guard on it but I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up to PNW winters. It’s beautiful though, and as describe, if I had read more carefully. I probably wouldn’t have bought it had I realized, but now that it’s here, we’re gonna keep it. It’s very pretty

Longer than expected, but a good thing!

Bought this for my daughter. She's about 4', age 8. Super warm & thick and goes past her bottom. Keeps her body warm and looks great. Definitely recommend if you want a cuter alternative to Carhartt.
