It's ok
Got this for kids. We did it and outside the bubble gum one the taste is horrible. You have to do it just right or it's gross. You actually need to add way more powdered sugar then recommended or it's gross. But it comes out well. It can be a messy project if not done properly but it's a cool little kit. Makes alot of gum.

Company needs to put expiration date on outside
I haven't used it yet, i stock up on things like this so my grandson don't get bored when he visits nana. I did open the box to see if the ingredients expired and 2 item are expired by a month. I will keep it this time. I find that a great deal of these kits have that issue. Some expired by years. You won't know until you buy it because the dates are stamped on each bag of ingredients and not the box.

Fun for kids. $13 cheaper here than other places.
God I hated this! It was a difficult sticky mess. It was hard to incorporate the powdered sugar because the gum sticks to the mixing utensils so, so much. That being said my son absolutely loved it. I would definitely buy it again. I would not gift it, the parents will hate you. It doesn’t come with wrappers, it states this, you need wax paper. Did I mention it’s $26 at Michael’s?!? So, this is a bargain.

Sticky Icky Mess
My son (6 years) wanted to make his own bubble gum in the worst way (thanks YouTube). So we tried (unsuccessfully) to get the ingredients that YouTube Lady outlined. So we saw this set and thought JACKPOT! All we need is right here in this convenient box for a reasonable price. So we get this thing in the mail and son is so excited to make his own gum! We start this process and that’s where the disaster begins. We expected there to be sticky issues, it is gum of course. But this sticky mess far exceeded said expectations. It was gross, even while adding the sugar (which is supposed to lessen the sticky and make it so you can mold it into a gum shape) - so we added 3 times the normal amount of sugar to try to get it workable. We ended up putting what was left on the cutting board (and not on our hands) in the freezer so it could harden. Then I had to cut/shave the frozen sticky blob off the cutting board as we tried to mold and cut the gum into the appropriate shape to wrap in wax paper (not provided) and seal with the stickers. After ALL OF THAT the six year old tried a piece and immediately spit it out saying it was gross…. Was it “quality bonding time” with my son… sure. Did the directions have cool STEM information across the many many pages of directions- yup! Would I rather take a tired and hungry toddler on a two hour trip to Walmart than attempt this project again? Yup. Save yourself the trouble, find a different experiment for your kid.

Great deal
This was a gift for my son for his birthday. A great way to keep us all involved in a little learning project over summer break!

Easy to make
My boys loved this experiment for their homeschool project. We didn’t receive the wrappers for the gum, but we just cut it into pieces and put them in a ziploc bag. I think a food scale should be suggested, especially when you have to use a third of every ingredient pack. We used a popsicle stick to mix the ingredients, and disposable bowls for kneading the sugar to contain the mess. The flavor could be more powerful, but very interesting to make gum from “scratch.”

Fun for the kids but WAY overpriced
The size of the box is incredibly deceiving for how little is in there (just a few packets). This should be priced under $10. My kids had fun making these (DEFINITELY USE DISPOSABLE EVERYTHING WHEN MAKING THIS, ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN!) the watermelon and bubble gum flavors were really good but orange was AWFUL (like try and get everyone you know to eat one and laugh at their expense while they gag) it makes about 25 pieces of gum and you have to provide a lot of materials to make them (only the ingredients come in the box). Wouldnt purchase again.

AWESOME!
Product was easy for my children to help with...the quality of the gum we actually made ourselves made us all proud!

Don't know cuz it is a Christmas gift
Like I said before I don't have anything to say cuz it's a Christmas gift for someone else.
