Getting my niece into engineering!
I picked this up for my 5 year old niece, and I was asking her for parts by their proper names in about an hour. "pass me the lever, and I'll show you how" If you're like me, and want your nieces and nephews starting early into Newtonian Mechanics before junior high, this is a good start!

Not worth the money
So I noticed most reviews that said “everything needed” were coming from the botany side. Has anyone bought the engineering kit yet to find out it DOES NOT COME WITH EVERYTHING NEEDED!? I saw one person write a review about what comes in the box and that things are cheap materials it isn’t much and I AGREE. What’s in the box is worth MAYBE $5. And then you need to come up with other things. You may or may not already have such as. Glue 8 marbles Plastic silverware Rope or cord Thumbtacks Toy blocks Wooden board Some type of containers from like yogurt/fruit snack cup/plastic cups Coins And MORE I would expect for what I paid that I don’t have to go out and or searching looking for these supplies. I’d say 98%-99% of the experiments DONT have everything you need. Out of all I saw 3 NOT ask for something outside the box. I mean I want to get created but for paper and more paper and more paper in here no plastic no rubber no metal this box is cheap and not worth the cost and not easy to use or helpful in my opinion. They give you a parachute made of a napkin. A legit napkin with a print on it. I will be returning and looking for a better value Now I’m writing regarding their human body science kit. In my opinion it’s horrible and I’ve now added photos. They ask for everything you can think of outside of the box so EXPECT TO GO GROCERY SHOPPING You need Rice Noodles Beats Carrots Hot food cold food and frozen food. Small blocks a scale A ROTATING CHAIR. I mean it’s ridiculous I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING.

Get tinkering!
This engineering toolkit has provided my son with a wonderful foundation for basic engineering skills. The instructions are very precise and provide good foundation to build upon in the future. Pulleys, levers, wind up cars; gravity, boats... it's all there.

Cheap. Not worth price. Worth $10 at most!
Low quality product but some basic and simple experiments. Not everything is an experiment that is counted as one and not everything is included. Some of what is included is pathetically cheap and no reputable company should include them as pieces

Very Cheap materials
We tried to do one of the experiments where the water sucks the paper when flipped upside down, and the paper was so flimsy, water spilled everywhere. When we did the experiment again with a piece of cardboard in our home we had laying around, it worked as predicted. A lot of the materials are printed on glossy paper that dont support the experiments. The Flip book experiment to see stop motion was also printed on cheap glossy paper and we cant flip the pages. If it was printed on card stock, this experiment would be possible. This isnt a great set and my kids lost interest because of disappointment.

overpriced
The box is oversized and filled mostly with styrofoam, some small pieces of plastic, straws and cardboard punchouts. Definitely not worth the fifty dollar price tag..
