Comfortable

Very comfortable socks. Just one thing that happens they slide under your foot from the top making it a little uncomfortable. But I do like the fact that the top of the sock does not cut off your circulation on the upper calf of your leg. Overall, yes I would buy another pair.

Good luck on finding the right size.

So I'm a pretty solid size 9 in mens. I ordered the over the calf on their other listing in medium 7-9 in natural since I'd rather have snug than loose. I received a small 3-5.5. The size charts aren't even close to matching. The size chart on the packacing didn't look anything like the size chart on this page. I didn't open them I just sent them back. I ordered the supposedly shorter mid calf sock they offer on this page and the size chart on this package is completely different than either of the others. If the mid calf are shorter, I'm glad I didn't get over the calf since the mid calf are knee high and I'm dead on average height. The size says 7-8.5, but would be huge for 7.5 and comfortable for 10.5. So they are a bit big for my 9 and almost twice as tall as I expected. Also, this listing said 100% silk and the package says 80% silk 20% nylon. Should be a good added layer of warmth with excellent moisture wicking tho keep the feet dry. Look to be well made so they should work for what I need. Much better that a polyester liner.

Surprisingly warm

I got these to wear with my Hunter lined rain boots that are supposed to be rated to 28°, but my feet were getting cold at 55°. The socks work great! So thin so they don’t add bulk in my boot, but very warm. I even used them in my Ugg-like boots. Highly recommend. I just wish they made a shorter pair.

Soft and warm

I have issues with the nerves in my feet so I need socks that are thinner and softer than average. I am glad I found these as they are nice and soft and not too thin or thick, yet quite warm when worn with boots. They go up to the knee almost but I usually just fold them over the top of the boot and avoid any elastic band marks that way (although the elastic in these is quite gentle too). Given that I had not been able to wear any other socks other than thin nylon ones, these are heaven sent. They pile badly, however (after just wearing them once!).

Weird fit

Tad too large in the foot, which means they are a poor liner as they bunch up under the second sock, yet sooo tight in the calf they left deep marks. Threw them away during my winter travels.

Very warm liners

I bought these to go mountain biking in Maine winters. These are amazingly warm for how slim they are. They fit effortlessly underneath regular socks and keep my feet nice and toasty. I've used them down to 35F and will use them in even lower temps as we get further into winter.

Durable for base layer cycling sock

I use these as a base layer under a thicker wool sock and a thinner athletic sock (yes 3 total). I'm honestly not sure how warm they are in action since with the temps as low as they are in winter here in the Northeast, only outer shoe covers have kept my feet from freezing off. That said, in the cold early morning, I can instantly feel the warmth when putting them on while getting ready for a ride. I can say they are durable enough to handle daily 1.5+ rides with a once a week hand washing, and hang dry after each ride. This is going on 2.5 months. Keep them away from any velco and anything that could provide the slightest snag possibility!
