Glad we bought it!

Makes my job of docking our boat much less stressful. It has saved my bow more than once. But it and relax!

this is not the older great quality Made in USA Talor made product!

Sticker stating Made In China was my first clue I purchased two of these (18 inch) for my personal dock. first the ball/tire was thinner than the old style, second it had what would look like warts or moles of the rubber/plastic randomly extending from the surface not terribly noticeable but both had the defect the 1st one had the locking or holding nut cross threaded on the stud and then RAN DOWN several threads I had to lock in a Vice and use 3/8 ratchet and handle extension to get it off it did mess up threads but I do have and used tap and die set to re thread the bolt and found another nut, Also the pvc pipe the tire is mounted too was cut at an angle so it would not spin properly??? etc.etc.etc. do yourself a favor and skip this junk! your going to get Chinese anyway, just get the Wang-WOW Chinese labeled one for 1/3 the price, and Yes the so called hot dipped galvanized bracket wasn't! looks distinctly like Krylon rattle can insta galvanize spray paint even the threads on the second one had already begun to rust, and on it the nut was missing all together, that's where the made in china stickers were I would NOT recommend this!

Works as advertised

These were easy to install at the end of our dock, and work exactly as they're supposed to. They've made backing into our slip much easier.

Sturdy unit but does not spin freely

This unit does not spin freely as advertised. Bottom of the ball is touching the pier and the mount causing the ball to wear on the bottom and not to spin at all. My neighbor has the same Taylor Made unit and it is raised and clears the mount and the pier and spins freely by hand.

Better than the KUFA

I needed two 12" dock wheels so I bought a KUFA ($75) and a Taylormade ($153). The Taylormade was much higher quality than the Kufa, directions were right on, install was simple, all installation parts were supplied including the lag screws, works fine. The Kufa had directions that didn't match the product, the welds were sloppy, but worst was the PVC fitting that the PVC cap screws onto was not securely attached and is easy to knock off and will probably disappear over time exposing the whole shaft to saltwater and rot. Get what you pay for....

Solid, durable and easy to install

Easy to set up and working great for my 35 foot sailboat. Only drawback is that it doesn’t come with lag screws for mounting which I felt it should for this price.

Worked well

They did the job, helping keep my boat off the corner of the dock. Challenging to install as the dock fingers are shorter than the dock. I stacked 3 2x6 boards together to extend out beyond where the boat lift swung the boat.
