Not Used Yet

This is a very nice pan!! Also a very BIG pan!! A bit larger than I was expecting, but it should work on anything I decide to throw at it. And love the fact it has two handles to give you much better control over anything with some weight to it. A nice glass lid with a vent hole completes the picture. I had purchased some frozen oriental chicken and rice meals that were just too large for my 12" deep fry pan with a lid, so I needed something bigger. Oh yeah, this sucker will work for that!!! Also, I figure I could make enough spaghetti in this thing to last me and dog for a month!! Yeah, my dog LOVES spaghetti. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love this pan. IF it turns out to be a dud, I'll come back here and let ya know.

This is my second pan like this. Good when it’s new. Read the instructions. My first pan got to where EVERYTHING was sticking. Wears out . Not like pans our mothers and grandmothers had. Quality getting poorer, price getting higher. CEO’s greedy

So big and performs very well!

I have loved TFal for most of my life but it’s been a long time since I bought some. This skillet is extraordinary in many ways. It’s bigger than my biggest burner but food at the edges gets cooked well. Holds five boneless chicken breasts with plenty of room to spare! I did use it in the oven and dropped the heat down to 350 (per notes that was the max temperature) and it was fine. (Google temp/time adjustments and you’ll find even 50 degrees adds a minimal amount of cooking time.) No matter what has been cooked, it cleans off so easily! I will be replacing my cookware as able to with all TFal!

Inexpensive and decent frying pan

The performance isn't superb, but it must be good enough because this is the 3rd one I've owned. You have to be sure you don't have someone in the family who uses metal on it because it scratches fairly easily. You also shouldn't use high heat because the bottom warps up some in the center. We have a glass top stove, but even when we had electric coils the pan was always hottest in the center.

My favorite pan.

I love that the edges are deep, preventing splashes or spills. I love that it comes with a lid with a venting hole. I use this for nearly every dinner.

good overall pan but it warps

I have several and they last a long time. The only real issue is the bottom warps. I read where you should not cool it down with water while it is hot. So I have been leaving it on the stove till it cools all the way down. It still warped. It is a brand-new pan. You put an egg in it or try to cook pancakes they run to the side of the pan. But if you're cooking goulash or anything like that the pan works great.

Very happy with the purchase

I had a Calphalon sauté pan that I have had for over 20 years, which was the same size as this and I loved it. It finally started to lose some of the nonstick, and I had to let it go. I was going to buy the exact same one, but it was more than twice the price of this one so I thought I would give this one a try and if I did not like it, send it back and get another Calphalon. However, I was very pleasantly surprised it is lighter than the Calphalon, which is OK because when you have it full of food, it could be quite heavy to lift, especially with one hand, so this is much better I love the size and the depth. Love the lid and that it has a tiny hole for it steam to escape so you don’t have it bubbling out the side of the lid nonstick works well and is very easy to clean. I have a smooth, electric, radiant, heat stove top and it works great on that. All in all I am very happy with it so far. it is definitely a good buy.

Love how big this is, I use it as a way to do stews or soups sometimes since it’s just big enough and I love this brand, will always be decent
