Good bar

I installed 2 in my shower , these work good for my wife. - it is 1" diameter, - it is not ADA compliant ( 1 ¼- 2"), if you have big hands recommend Larger diameter. - I bought it by mistake , seller did not accept return or exchange.

The anchor screws have no cover.

I like the textured grip and one piece construction, but you have to see the anchor screws and sealant. I prefer the cover plates for a nicer finish.

Product and directions are perfect! Nice long nails (or were they screws, mmm?). It is incredibly sturdy. I also like the slightly scruffy center of the bar; it provides an extra layer of safety and confidence!

Little hard to install if you have a tub/shower enclosure that is away from the wall. You will need more than just a plain screw to install. Everyone should have these in their tub/shower. Can't understand why they are only marketed to elderly people, as anyone can slip and fall. Bought for my husband who was having stability problems, but I now use it every day just for that extra measure of safety. Love it!

Works as expected

Work fine just wish it had a cover as the exposed screw heads do not look nice. I thing the one inch diameter tubing is too small but my wife is happy with it. It is a functional assist bar just not aesthetically pleasing. But it is much better than nothing

Installed in shower for parents. Perfect and solid. Screwed directly in studs with 12 x 2 inch wood screws. Hardware was included but my shower tiling and drywall were 1 inch thick

My one disappointment with it ( not a fault of the product

It meets the specifications. My one disappointment with it ( not a fault of the product, but rather of my own expectations) is that I cannot use it in a shower stall, at least not without some proper caulking (not one of my strengths in DIY!). I have other locations to use it, so it's not a big problem.
