A classic example of cutting cost at the expense of the consumer

This fuel pump is advertised as fitting a Kholer K301. It is also significantly more expensive than other options. However it is just as cheaply made. The "one size fits all" concept rarely applies to any mechanical component of any engine, and this is just one example. They provide you with one straight, and one 90° fitting. Why not two of each? After all, that would ensure fitment across multiple platforms. I'll tell you why. It would cost a few cents more per unit to include the extra fittings, and we can just pass this extra cost on to the customer, and make it the customer's problem. I am very disappointed, and will be waiting an additional few days to be able to use my tractor. I will no longer purchase products that are branded as Stens. As consumers, we have very limited power in the economy, however, we have the ability to write reviews, and the ability to choose which products and services we buy. I will excersise both.
