The best cooking spatula shape

This is the tool I reach for every day! I love this for sautéing, the perfect combo of spoon and spatula. There is interior metal stiffening which also makes it great for stirring heavy soups and stews. The only downside to this version, the wooden end prevents dishwashering. The Henckels version, which seems to have been discontinued, was single piece silicone. I would still have it if my bad dog hadn’t decided to chew the blade because there was something delicious on it. Henckels, please bring back the old version in red! If I’d known it wouldn’t be around, I’d have bought a few to stockpile.

Nice looking

Don’t know for sure if the wife like them but she didn’t throw them away. Would not use hanging rack that I bought for them.

An inch too short, but fine for most tasks

High quality, you know it will last for years of constant cooking. It pushes a lot of food easily, so best to be slow and measured with it.

High quality turner

I stir-fry every day. This is one of the best turners I have ever owned. It's not for all purposes as it's a bit thick and short, but no turner is made for all purposes. You just need to buy different turners for different situations. This one is great for stir frying! Very sturdy. The handle won't melt or warp when resting on the edge of a hot wok. I won't say it is good for flipping pancakes, but I love it for stir-frying! I read some reviews complaining its small size. For me it is fine, though it will also be OK if the handle is 1 or 2 inches longer.

it is too short for a Wok Spatula, it needs to be 3 inches longer

I like that the silicon shovel does not scrape the Wok seasoning. However, the handle is too short for a Wok Spatula. I wanted to use it with a 15 inch Wok, but my hand sometimes brushes the rim of the Wok. The Wok is at 400 degrees and I do not want my hand near the rim of the Wok. Also, I do not like that the silicon goes so far up the handle. I tap my Spatula on the rim to remove any food that is stuck on the Spatula's shovel end. The silicon on Staub Spatula acts like a bumper and the Spatula bounces off the rim. The Staub Spatula is well made and appears to be sturdy.

well balanced in the hand it's perfect but this would be improved by an increase in size by half inch wider and half inch longer.

Replacement for the carbon steel one that came with my Wok.

I started using my wok again and have no idea what happened the original Spatula. I didn't want one that would scratch the sides since that have cured perfectly over the years. The wood ones were to thick. I did the amazon search and found this and it's perfect. It is gentle on the wok, manages the food well and best of all it doesn't get hot and it won't melt.

not good

I recently purchased a shovel and was disappointed to find that it formed bubbles on its tip after only a short period of use. This indicates that the quality of the shovel is not good enough for regular use. As a consumer, I expect the products I purchase to be durable and reliable. Unfortunately, this shovel did not meet those expectations. I am disappointed in the quality of the product and would like to receive a refund or a replacement. In the future, I will be more cautious when purchasing products and will do my research beforehand to ensure that I am getting a high-quality item.
