It's not a backpacking trip without a Sierra Cup!

Such a useful item... and versatile. You can actually use it on a stove for quick boiling a cup of water for a freeze dried meal. Well made. Flat bottom.

Stainless Sierra Cup

The original Sierra cups were made of 2 metals, the bottom kept in the heat and the top dispersed it. This cup is stainless steel but my grandson loves it for camping.

Overall the cups performance has been very good.

This is a small Sierra style cup. It is brightly polished and thin so it saves weight. It works perfectly for drinking or heating water over a small ultralight stove. The rolled edge is rough underneath so you may need to work some of the lip cutters down a bit. Overall the cups performance has been very good.

Stansport sierra cup

This sierra cup made in china like most others isn't very good quality, bottom isn't flat, cheap metal. But this is probably better than other brands on Amazon. So even though it isn't very good it seems to be a little better than the other's. The bottom pops in and out, cheap. But will keep this till I find a good cup and chuck this cheapy.
