Great teaching tool

Bought for granddaughter, she is a little young for them yet but she is learning to stack them and they fit nicely in her hands.

Fun to stack the blocks too!

We were sent the fruit puzzle instead of animals, which was fine - just wanted to clarify (I don't have a choice of which I review for Vine purposes). The pictures are good quality, and I was impressed with the packaging - there are thin cardboard inserts to keep the blocks from hitting each other in transit. I like the included flash cards - one for each puzzle side, with fun facts on the back. My son isn't three yet (the minimum recommended age), but without large variations in the photo colors I can see him getting frustrated using the puzzle as intended (I got frustrated lol). He pointed out the different fruits as he saw them on the blocks though, and had a blast stacking the blocks and knocking them over. We counted as we stacked, so that added another way to learn from the puzzle blocks. One of the corners is already slightly dented (not too bad), but even though I can see more dents and dings happening, I think these will give my son several years of enjoyment as he eventually learns to match up the blocks to solve the puzzle, especially since the photos are of real fruit and not childish.

fruit wood puzzles are light to carry & informative **photos**

Fun educational puzzle blocks for my kids. We got the fruit set, which come with a large card with the puzzle picture and interesting facts about the fruit in the back (pics 01 & 02). I like that the 12 block puzzles are made of wood yet it's lighter than our other wood block puzzles. So, they're easier to carry for my toddler kids. The picture paper on each block puzzle is thick enough and covers each wood block well. These will probably last longer than our other ones, which are made of thinner paper. My older kids like the challenge of putting the puzzles together at a certain speed. My younger ones are content with being able to finish 1 set at a time at their leisure. Well-recommended.

well made puzzle for younger kids

This is a nice puzzle for toddler and early preschool age children. My two toddlers have been playing with it. They've gotten the hang of it now but it took several tries to explain how the pictures are different on different sides. They were frustrated with it at first but now like playing with it. The pictures are well done and line up exactly. The cubes themselves are sturdy and are a good size for little hands. All in all its a nice toy for young kids.

Another dimension puzzle

Very cool! Six jigsaw puzzles with a great twist— you have to twist each of the twelve blocks to find the right bit of the puzzle. Literally an extra dimension to the cognitive workload, and the satisfaction when it's completed. Added bonus the blocks are much sturdier than regular jigsaw puzzle pieces! Six cards that have the picture you are building and some age-appropriate facts about the animal fruit or whatever it is. Open cardboard box serves well as a container for the cards and blocks. Simple, solid, challenging and fun. Very happy with it. Hope this quick review helps you.

Wonderful for young children

Large blocks so easier for smaller hands to hold and maneuver. I didn't get the farm animals but got fruit instead. That is okay. The pictures are sharp and a great learning tool for children to learn how things look, spatial relationships and puzzles plus big blocks to move around. I think this is the best toy I've seen since I was a child in the 60s with big blocks to play with. I'm glad someone brought these back into existence.
