Perfect. I LOVE this open-work design fruit bowl from Spectrum Diversified. The overall size is fairly large, and although it's very lightweight, it's extremely sturdy as well. The weight is evenly distributed, so no tipping will occur. There are 3 different sized rings that create the open walls of this bowl: small, medium and large. This size variation creates a better sense of depth and movement, and adds to its overall visual appeal. The circular design is attractive, yet simple and minimal. Some of the rings don't actually touch each other on all of the 4 clock sides (12, 3, 6, 9). Although they're mostly attached to each other, the rings detach at certain points. But don't worry. This doesn't compromise the overall stability of the bowl at all. There is no bending, breaking, shattering or snapping to worry about, unless it's under unreasonably immense pressure. In everyday use, this open-work metal bowl is great for holding a good amount of fruits, yarn, ornaments, and any other such items. Because of the bowl's very wide, outward-leaning walls, it can hold more than one might initially assume. The shiny chrome finish lends a slick and clean finishing touch to this inexpensive conversation piece. You know when you order stuff online, and it ends up being a much smaller version of what you'd envisioned? Well, that's certainly not the case here. The price is great, and the size is ample. This bowl is sure to add an extra modern vibe to your kitchen, bathroom, or any other room in your home. It would make a gorgeous centerpiece for a living room coffee table. Because of its very wide slanted walls, various sized objects can be held and displayed inside without a problem. Overall, an awesome buy that I highly recommend to all of you. This modern chrome bowl is exactly what I've spent almost a year looking for. I just didn't know exactly what that was until I found it. I plan to use it as the foundation for my diy chandelier... or whatever it may be called by the time I finish. I like to improvise as I go along. Eventually, I'll be hanging this bowl from the ceiling using some self-adhesive hooks and chains. (The ceiling hooks are perfect to use for hanging decorations of all kinds, including glass plant terrariums and candle holders.) Since there is an even, flattened surface on the bottom of this bowl, it's easy to hang it evenly from the bottom, using 3 of the same length chains. Regardless of which direction I choose to face the bowl (up or down), I can creatively attach or place glass votive holders from it, or on top of it, should I choose to do so. If it faces upwards, I may display something really cool and artsy inside the bowl, along with a glowing candle or light of some sort. If it faces downwards, there will be a wider area of space to hang my beads from. I'll be hanging strung beads from the conveniently open areas of the bowl. I'll use different lengths and patterns, and just play around with different options. I plan to use Aurora Borealis (AB) crystals, and colorful, faceted glass and acrylic beads, as well as a gorgeous roll of AB beads I got from Amazon (I forget the company, but you can find the exact one in my reviews on my profile). BUT Be careful- There are so many dishonest companies on here that misrespresent their products in their photos. Many companies use the exact same photo, and claim it as their own. I fell for it, and ordered a roll of beautiful, iridiscent AB beads. Instead, I got plain, cheap, clear beads with no color play whatsoever. So just be aware of that. Anyway so far, those are my plans for diy chandelier. I hope this inspired you to create your own project, or at least gave you some ideas.
